> 3 dayThese outlets were very easy to install. I appreciate that the unit can be given a name and then each plug can be given its own name, too. To connect it to Alexa was not intuitive, but it is simple. It took a little bit to figure out how, but it you simply install the mydlink skill, and go through the steps there. Easy peazy. The unit is rugged, and there are covers on the outlets for when they’re not in use. The included USB port is nifty. It is always on and cannot be controlled via app or Alexa or anything else, but it is still nice. The outlets can also be Turned on or off by physically pushing a button on the top of the plug, which is great. There are small LED lights to indicate when the power is onto the unit and when it is on for each plug.

> 3 dayStumbled on to this while checking out the Lutron Caseta switch device at almost 3x the price and so glad I did. Unpacking this from the box, the construction is impressive, weather-proof and rugged. Downloaded the app, powered it up and low and behold, it came right up on the app, So far, with a couple days in production, its incredibly reliable. Probably the easiest install of any home automation device Ive used. Only issue I can think of: it would be awesome if the device was smaller. Its pretty large and bulky. But, dang, this thing is so good, its still 5-stars.

> 3 dayPurchased this cause it said it was weatherproof, but every time it rains just a little my lights stop working. If I find out it’s not this plug which is causing the outage I will change my review.

> 3 dayThe software (app and web site) are complete and total garbage. Support (via phone or email) is no better. Cannot enable most features without it. The app is missing the + to add a schedule event on the page where telephone Support tells me it should be. I went to the web site to try to find any sort of documentation (the box only contains two cards the size of business cards with cryptic/terse instructions for getting the app). As soon as I sign in, I get a page that announces Unsupported browser or operating system. I get this on my Macbook with OSX 11.3, using Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. I tried Microsoft Edge on a WIndows 10 PC (completely up to date), and I get the same answer. After several emails to Support I finally got a reply -- which suggested that I try Chrome. The only function I have been able to use so far is a 30 minute timer, which will let me set it to either turn on or turn off after 30 minutes. YIPPEE!!! I used to think D-Link was a reputable company. I have just now learned that they are just a bunch of clueless clowns. But great value for money -- at 70% off for prime day.

> 3 dayThis plug can only be programmed to work on a same day 24 hr schedule. You can not schedule it to turn on at 5pm one day & off at 1am ( night hours) the following morning. That’s as stupid a programming failure I have yet to encounter with any outdoor smart plug. Given the price - its criminal. I highly recommend any other outdoor wifi plug/outlet but this one.

> 3 dayWe purchased this to replace an old lamp timer. The timer would short out whenever it rained. With this I have a good seal and wifi connectivity. I would highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayMultiple attempts at connecting to my Orbi router failed. It did connect with my Xfinity router easily. This is a problem since I am planning to get rid of the Xfinity router.
