Multiple attempts at connecting to my Orbi router failed. It did connect with my Xfinity router easily. This is a problem since I am planning to get rid of the Xfinity router.

For starters, it did not power up at all to even attempt a setup. Though the USB port was working, it never went into setup mode or even allow a full reset via the center button. I dont get it. ***Updated*** I continued fidgeting with it to see why it was not showing any life when it was plugged in. I then thought about testing to see if the two power outlets worked like the USB port did, and wouldt you know, when I plugged in an AC cord to a simple light bulb, it magically woke up and went into setup mode. It was at that time that the instructions were correct in how fast it took to setup. I have no idea why it literally played dead until I checked to see if it actually had any AC running through it like any other power strip. One thing to do, which is talked about at the (very end) of the instruction sheet is that if you intend to voice control this thing, you have to also introduce it as a new device on your Alexa App, or whatever AI you have in place for it to function as a hands free device on your network. If you dont have an AI turning stuff on and off for you via voice command, then the recommended phone app you have to use to install it to your network is an awesome remote control for it. Happy that its not defective, and that I avoided the hassle of a return, but if it were not for my stubbornness at trouble shooting, it would have gone back with the original one star review I gave it for being a DOA unit, to put it precicely.

While it recognized my wifi (and all my neighbors) in the list of choices it repeatedly told me my password was wrong so I could not use the product. FAIL! Plus as I bought them to use for Christmas lights now I am stuck with them as I only just opened so it is way past return time. I never imagined they wouldnt work.

Reliable plug. Has stayed connected unlike some others. Good integration with Alexa.

This was easy to configure with the D-Link app. It stays connected to the wifi and hasnt dropped yet. Quickest way to provide 2 separate remotely controlled outlets.

The timers were easy to hookup and performed great. The wifi always seemed to hookup well and they survived several rain storms with no issues. Definitely recommend these.

Didn’t connect to wifi despite multiple attempts! RETURNED, THEN purchased Amazon Plug for Humans! Problem resolved !

I bought this to use with my outdoor Christmas lights. Thought it would be a little better than the old school timer I had them plugged into in previous years. I finally went to take this out of the box to set up for my Christmas lights and it won’t connect to wifi. It is completely useless. I tried contacting the company and they wanted me to pay more than I purchased the product for for “technical support” no thanks. I’ll just go buy from a more reputable brand
