D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Outdoor Plug with 2 Outlets and 1 USB Port, No Hub Required, Works with Google Assistant (DSP-W320-US) , Black

I bought this to use with my outdoor Christmas lights. Thought it would be a little better than the old school timer I had them plugged into in previous years. I finally went to take this out of the box to set up for my Christmas lights and it won’t connect to wifi. It is completely useless. I tried contacting the company and they wanted me to pay more than I purchased the product for for “technical support” no thanks. I’ll just go buy from a more reputable brand

I really like this product, I might buy another one for the front yard. It’s good quality and had not issues setting it up.

The outdoor plug itself is well made, functional. The app is another story. Scheduling is a joke. I set the outlet to come on at 8pm and off at 1am. The app tells me this is unacceptable! The start time must begin before the stop time. The only thing in this world that thinks 1am is earlier than 8pm is the calendar. Obviously no humans involved here!

While it recognized my wifi (and all my neighbors) in the list of choices it repeatedly told me my password was wrong so I could not use the product. FAIL! Plus as I bought them to use for Christmas lights now I am stuck with them as I only just opened so it is way past return time. I never imagined they wouldnt work.

The software (app and web site) are complete and total garbage. Support (via phone or email) is no better. Cannot enable most features without it. The app is missing the + to add a schedule event on the page where telephone Support tells me it should be. I went to the web site to try to find any sort of documentation (the box only contains two cards the size of business cards with cryptic/terse instructions for getting the app). As soon as I sign in, I get a page that announces Unsupported browser or operating system. I get this on my Macbook with OSX 11.3, using Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. I tried Microsoft Edge on a WIndows 10 PC (completely up to date), and I get the same answer. After several emails to Support I finally got a reply -- which suggested that I try Chrome. The only function I have been able to use so far is a 30 minute timer, which will let me set it to either turn on or turn off after 30 minutes. YIPPEE!!! I used to think D-Link was a reputable company. I have just now learned that they are just a bunch of clueless clowns. But great value for money -- at 70% off for prime day.

Decent app. Able to schedule the on/of times with ease

i like that it reconnects when wifi goes off, so far its reliable

It works as an extra outlet and USB but thats all. It wont link to Google home.

Tried it 15 times with a nest wifi router.... Reset it over and over and it keeps saying the password is incorrect. I copied it straight from the screen on Google Home with no success. Tried it with my AT&T router. Same problem. Returning this for something I can actually use

The timers were easy to hookup and performed great. The wifi always seemed to hookup well and they survived several rain storms with no issues. Definitely recommend these.
