> 3 dayGreat straps. Love the padding which will keep your boards safe. The length was enough to tie two surfboards and one SUP. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayIm *SO* confused. I have been using Dakine straps for at least 10 years. These are the WORST straps I have ever used. The straps constantly come loose in the cams, allowing my surf board to wiggle all over the place. I have to do an entire gymnastics routine to get them tight enough. I cant for the life of me figure out why these are so different than my previous Dakine straps. Seriously these are horrible. Sadly I was out of the return period before I could use them so Im stuck with them. :-( Will unfortunately be switching brands and being a new pair.

Greater than one weekThese are high quality straps. I like the fact that they are wide and well made. I use them to strap down several paddle boards and they are very secure and the pads on the metal prevents any damage to the boards. I have the HF cheapie straps, those will be put in the back of the tool box...I would recommend thse straps if you are holding down anything of value.

> 3 dayDa Kine is a saying in Hawaii used (among other ways) to say something is great. If somebody tells you that this or that is da kine, brah, you can take that as high praise and a solid recommendation. These straps are definitely da kine! Seriously, after using these I would use nothing else. Once you figure out how to run the strap through the buckle by lifting up the protective sheath from underneath - you can head down the road with your boards and feel confident they will get to the beach no problem, even if that beach is way down the freeway or off some bumpy back road. I use these to strap two 11 foot SUPs to my vans roof rack and I smile every time I pull them tight. They are 100% awesome, and that protective sheath is a great touch. I really didnt recognize Da Kine as being much more than another brand name for surf gear - but now I know - they make top quality products, products you can trust with your precious surf gear. Buy these and never sweat your boards flying off of your car again.
