Greater than one weekVery nice. Neoprene keeps the scratches down on my two paddleboards. Ive never had an issue with them failing in the 2 years Ive used them. Theyve been tested up to 70mph on a roofrack with pads.

> 3 dayThese are high quality straps. I like the fact that they are wide and well made. I use them to strap down several paddle boards and they are very secure and the pads on the metal prevents any damage to the boards. I have the HF cheapie straps, those will be put in the back of the tool box...I would recommend thse straps if you are holding down anything of value.

> 3 dayFantastic for getting gear on the roof. The rounded edges keep boards and other fragile things from getting wear and tear.

> 3 dayI use these to strap my surfboard to the roof of my car. these are fantastic! the ones i had before these, i couldnt get tight enough. i had to stop on the side of the freeway to retighten them. however, with the dakine straps, i can get so much more leverage and get them so much tighter, with almost no effort. they hold my board down nice and secure. these are awesome!

> 3 dayDakines been making surf-related equipment for years and it shows. The neoprene coating over the metal buckle is great for preventing scratches and dings on your car and board, and the thick straps help distribute pressure over a greater area reducing the likelihood of damaging whatever youre strapping down.

> 3 dayWe strapped the surfboard down and drove a mile at 35 miles an hour. Incredible shaking going on! We ended up borrowing ratchet straps. No way would we attempt this on the highway. We also missed the return window by two days! Very disappointed.

> 3 dayI liked these well enough but WoW one trip with them up the Cali Coast and they just started to disintegrate, maybe I got a bad lot. Gotta get them replaced....which is a bummer AND the price went up. Thats a load of crapola. I guess thats Amazon just offered a credit not a replacement...guess they know they were gonna have to eat the difference.....strike against Dakine and 2 strikes to Amazon.
