> 3 dayI like the projector so far. My only complaint is that it does not display properly when the HDMI is ran through an adapter. My MacBook Pro only has USB C type ports, so I need to use an adapter to run HDMI from my laptop to the projector. However, this causes my screen to not project properly. It splits my display into two small boxes like Mario Kart multiplayer instead of one full screen. To fix this, I just bought a USB C to HDMI cable so I dont have to face any lag from airplay/wifi.

Greater than one weekWe’ve used the projector once so far to watch a movie outside. Because of the high luminescence of it, we were able to start watching during dusk. The picture quality is so good that we plan to use it as our main “tv”, replacing our 60” led tv. If it’s too much hassle to take down after we mount it, we’ll probably by another to use outside.

> 3 dayIm awaiting my 3rd RD828 ! Perhaps my expectations are too high for what is after all, a budget projector. Im almost sure they are, as i have a high level home theater in a dedicated room using a great Epson projector. I wanted to use a budget LED projector to project a pc based golf simulation program in my game room. The RD828 seemed like it would fit that bill adequately, but although it is strong in some areas, quality control is not one of them. Both units i returned showed artifacts on screen that are evidence of poor assembly environmental cleanliness - Read, not assembled in a clean room ! Hairs and dead pixels that could be dirt, probably on an internal lens, were visible on the screen, and once seen, thats all i could see ! Im hoping the 3rd sample does not have these issues, because I like several things about this unit. The picture is very close to correctly focused in all 4 corners, while the center image is focused, which is hard for a budget LED to achieve. I tried a Nexigo PJ20 first and it was terrible in this regard. With that unit, you could have the center or the corners focused, but not both ! Light output is ok in a semi dark room, but as is to be expected, any ambient light washes it out. 4 corner keystone correction works amazingly well, as does digital zoom reduction. Ill update, if the 3rd time becomes a charm :) Dropped to a one star. 3rd one had something rattling around inside it and picture was the worst yet. I give up on this one unfortunately. It showed promise, but unless im being extremely unlucky, quality control is non existent.

Greater than one weekI started with a cheaper projector, but I was disappointed with the picture and the noise. And also with the lack of inputs to connect to home theater system. After researching, I settled on this DBPower projector. And it was an excellent choice. You could spend a lot more money on a projector, but Im not sure what more you would get out of it. Or want. This projector has it all. It has a bright screen, its doesnt have the noise of a cheap unit, it has two HDMI inputs along with other inputs. I like the picture best with the saturation level set to about 90. Rich colors, and still a sharp, clear picture. Also very happy with their customer service. When you call, they pick right up and theyre very polite and very helpful. Im a real dude in Lexington, Ky. Not a fake review. DBPower deserves praise for this unit and for their service. Love this projector.

> 3 dayI was able to navigate the menu and set up Wi-Fi, key stone and screen share without using instructions. Great little projector and we use it a lot.

> 3 dayThere really isnt too much that I can add to the many reviews about this product. I was very impressed with how easy it is to setup and start using. I needed something that would be viewable in a fairly bright room and this works. Clear picture and good sound from the built-in speakers. The fan noise isnt bad and the remote control works well. So far I have used this to play movies from a USB thumb drive, connected to the HDMI ports, and to mirror my display from an iPad. Im not looking to play anything from a streaming service like Hulu, Netflix etc. This seems like a great product for the price and the carrying case is handy.

> 3 dayProjector seems great. Had to return due to missing remote, carrying case and no instruction manual. Clearly an open box item. I called Amazon and they emailed me the manual but wanted to send me a gift card to purchase the remote myself?? No thanks. Returned and reordered.

> 3 dayThis is my 4th try at finding a good sub $300 projector that can be used for home theater and for web browsing. I use my projector to stream movies/tv as well as browse the web (windows pc, hdmi). The other 3 projector brands (also sub $300) worked adequately for movies/tv, but failed miserably at rendering clear and focused text. This was my last try, if unsuccessful I was ready to step up to the over $500 price range. Glad I gave this brand a try. Reason it did not get 5-stars: there is no User setting for contrast, brightness, or picture mode; you have to live with the out-of-the-box image settings.

Greater than one weekI use this projector on a daily basis on a 200 inch screen. Comes out with crystal clear video and looks great. However if you plan to use the iOS cast or google casting make sure you have a fast Wi-Fi. Not the projectors fault at all, just something you should take into consideration.
