This is a really nice machine and for $239 (with coupon) it was a steal. The picture quality is great. I am very happy with it. Its easy to aim and focus. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. I just plug my ROKU Stick in and its ready to rumble. The sound from the built in 5 watt speakers isnt great but you can pipe the sound out through the headphone jack to whatever speaker set up you have. The unit has WIFI so you can stream content from your laptop, tablet or computer. It doesnt have bluetooth which is a bummer. I did purchase a bluetooth transmitter and inserted it into the headphone jack. Im able to send the audio off to a couple of wireless/cordless speakers for better sound. It would be nice however if there were more audio output options other than just a 3.5mm headphone jack, such as an optical output, to connect to an external sound system.

11/27/21 Updated: I contacted the seller to see about how to possibly clean the unit and since they advised there was no way I could do it without potentially harming the unit, they sent me out a new unit at no charge. I wouldnt recommend this unit for heavy use due to it not being able to filter out dust particles very well and no way to clean the inside. Five stars to the seller though for replacing my unit quickly. Paid more for this than other projectors I had in the past hoping the filter would help keep the dust out that ultimately ruins the pictures and it did nothing. You can see in the picture there are black dust specks all over the picture. It started in the upper left corner and migrated throughout the whole picture. If you look into the lens you can see them on the inside projector lens. there is no way to clean that part. We use a freshly painted white wall as our screen so its not a screen issue, its a projector issue. I would not recommend this unit if you plan on regular use. Probably only good for occasional use so you dont get the dust build-up.

I am not an expert in electronics, but this device was fairly simple to set up to use! I purchased because a friend purchased the exact one recently and she showed me all the great features of this product! For example, the projector can be set up in a discreet area out of the way of the audience viewing a screen. I was amazed how she pulled photos off of her phone to also project on the screen! I used this projector for family photos at a reunion. It will also be useful if I present a program about a historic home (currently on the board) to an organization.

Hi Team, Video & Audio quality are good to compare with other companies products. I loved it. Mirror screen & HDMI features are not supporting with iPhones & Lenovo X1 Carbon Laptop. I reported this issue to DBPower Customer Care. I bought same product from DBPower website with Best Price. I am waiting for Resolution. Thank you Amazon for all your support & great services always. This is my 4th try at finding a good sub $300 projector that can be used for home theater and for web browsing. I use my projector to stream movies/tv as well as browse the web (windows pc, hdmi). The other 3 projector brands (also sub $300) worked adequately for movies/tv, but failed miserably at rendering clear and focused text. This was my last try, if unsuccessful I was ready to step up to the over $500 price range. Glad I gave this brand a try. Reason it did not get 5-stars: there is no User setting for contrast, brightness, or picture mode; you have to live with the out-of-the-box image settings.

I bought this for outdoor movie nights for the kids. Went with this one for the brightness and color reviews. Its bright, and the colors look good. BUT THE AUDIO JACK IS USELESS. There is ONLY ONE WAY to connect audio to an external speaker, and thats through the 3.5mm headphones jack. The resulting audio level is far too low, even with the projectors volume at max, and the external speakers volume at max. I tried different cables, different speakers, I even had my friend whos a recording engineer for Audible take a whack at it. Its just completely underpowered and useless. DO NOT GET THIS PROJECTOR if you need audio along with the video. I tried going through technical support and they said it was probably a speck of dust blocking the signal. Even my engineer buddy had to laugh at that garbage answer. AGAIN -- stay far, far, far, far away from this projector. Completely useless without audio.

I started with a cheaper projector, but I was disappointed with the picture and the noise. And also with the lack of inputs to connect to home theater system. After researching, I settled on this DBPower projector. And it was an excellent choice. You could spend a lot more money on a projector, but Im not sure what more you would get out of it. Or want. This projector has it all. It has a bright screen, its doesnt have the noise of a cheap unit, it has two HDMI inputs along with other inputs. I like the picture best with the saturation level set to about 90. Rich colors, and still a sharp, clear picture. Also very happy with their customer service. When you call, they pick right up and theyre very polite and very helpful. Im a real dude in Lexington, Ky. Not a fake review. DBPower deserves praise for this unit and for their service. Love this projector.

I was very suspect when I saw the low price. I purchased the projector and couldnt be more pleased. This thing is much better then I could have hoped for. The picture quality is excellent. The sound quality is very clear and can get quite loud. I have mine connected to a surround sound system. The picture is very bright! The throw is quite good. Approximately 10 foot away from wall or screen will give you a 100 inch picture. The picture is crystal clear! I have a 40 watt lamp in the room and have no problem watching a movie. You DO NOT have to have a completely dark room, the projector is that bright! It connects to the internet quickly, and is very simple to do. The fan is relatively quite.. I replaced a projector that I had which cost much more than this one because the old projector didnt have Wi-Fi. The picture quality with this projector blows my old and much more expensive projectors picture away! I tried to give you answers that I had questions about this projector before I bought it. Hope this helps. You wont be disappointed.

When I ordered the DBPower Projector I had doubts that it could really live up to the online claims. My previous projector from a market leader had cost three times as much 14 years ago and a bulb replacement, which was due was half the price of the DB Power complete projector. My doubts were totally unfounded. I installed the projector myself on the previous ceiling bracket and within 30 minutes it was all set up and working with dazzling colour and amazing clarity. Ity has provided a totally new and very much improved experience of home projection TV - so no hesitation to recommend to others.

Trust the reviewers saying the audio has a really low cap. The built in volume is loud enough indoors, but it goes no louder when you use a speaker device with it. The projector itself seems to cause a limit to volume for some reason. I tried ignoring that when I bought it. The screen was pretty dim, even with the lights off. Nothing compared to the brightness on my phone or laptop. Colors were pretty soft too even with different settings built to increase vividness. Casting was the real issue. Tried using my phone to mirror streaming services, but ran into the built in HDCP (digital content protection). No way around it. If you cant stream Netflix, Disney+, or Prime video, why even advertise that you can cast with your phone? Device is severely limited, but functional if you dont have much preference, hence my three star review.
