Took a CPR class instructor had one on hand suction works good. Pick one up to have on hand hopefully never have to use it.

There is glue all over! Looks like its from them putting it together

The first thing that you notice is the greasy residue on the outside of the product. I have no idea what this is or what the purpose could possibly be. Second, the device I ordered for a child came equipped with an adult mask. Third, the plastic device designed to fit in the patients mouth is very stiff and could potentially cause injury to the airway when the device is used. So add a bleeding airway to a choking emergency - not good. When I was in residency, one of my attendings said: Never underestimate your ability to make a bad situation worse. Well, heres your chance.

Just buy this if youre a new parent. Itll save you from hospital visits and a massive heart attack from witnessing your child choking on their food or toys. Got this for my elder brother for his sons. Soon my other brother for his daughter.

What an amazing product! My daughter starting to choke the other day on a grape and I realized that I actually had no idea what to do. The Dechoker arrived in only a few days and everything looks great. The unit comes with very clear and simple instructions for use. It makes me feel so much better now that my familys first aid kit has this in it. I really hope that I never have to use it, but it gives me such relief to know that its there if we ever have another choking scare.
