DeCHOKER Anti-Choking Device for Toddlers (Ages 1-3 Years)

Greater than one weekThis product is transformational. It saves lives without harming the choking victim. Back slapping and the Heimlich are not fully effective and the choking victim (if they survive) are often times physically injured. Every home, restaurant and healthcare institution should have several dechokers available.

> 3 dayWe put one in a backpack and the neck joint, which appears to be super glued on, broke easily. Had to buy a new one. It’s scary as it’s unusable if it breaks there

> 3 dayThe first thing that you notice is the greasy residue on the outside of the product. I have no idea what this is or what the purpose could possibly be. Second, the device I ordered for a child came equipped with an adult mask. Third, the plastic device designed to fit in the patients mouth is very stiff and could potentially cause injury to the airway when the device is used. So add a bleeding airway to a choking emergency - not good. When I was in residency, one of my attendings said: Never underestimate your ability to make a bad situation worse. Well, heres your chance.
