My son used a one-man tent, I had a self inflating pad, pillow, low temp sleeping bag and this tarp. I brought one side to the ground to cut down wind, the other side nearly to the ground and crawled out the end. Kept the rain and frost off, we were backwoods hunting in Colorado. This pic was about 12,000. Was able to get all my gear and my sons gear under the tarp with me.

Picked up this tarp to make a quick rain shelter for when it rains hard or snows so that my dogs will actually go outside. So far we have had some strong winds and storms and it’s help up pretty well.

I like its very well made + though. I use it for camping, bushcraft, any where I need shade or weather protection.

For the cost of this tarp i dnt think u can beat it, stitching is pretty good tie outs are sturdy, the only con is it could use tie outs at the quarter points

Love it, it’s nice and large a bit heavier than my previous tarps. However, in the winter it’s large enough to create a shelter with four walls and a floor. The thick material helps to keep body heat inside and in the spring it doesn’t allow any water through. You won’t regret buying this. I will say that if lightweight is your goal there are better options.
