Great product, cant beat the price for the quality, only thing I would have liked (was already aware it wasnt offered, was a sliding up and down feature to lower and raise the monitor

    Greater than one week

This is used mostly for work purpose. It seamlessly connects and projects images really well. Doesnt seem to strain my eyes as much as other older monitors.

I had re-arranged my computer desk, and I realized I had room to upgrade my 6 year old 21 monitor. After reading a bunch of reviews, I decided on this Dell 27 (I ordered a Displayport to HDMI converter cord as well). Monitor arrived on time and well packed in a box in a box. I put the stand together in seconds and had everything hooked up in a couple of minutes...very easy! I powered up the monitor, and after a select language prompt, I powered up my 2 year old HP computer. Everything worked perfectly the first time! No bad pixels, and the display is very nice... especially for the price. I keep my studio dark, so I ended up turning the brightness way down to 5%, and the contrast up to 80%. I also adjusted my fonts a bit since I have so much screen space now... MUCH easier on the eyes! Im super happy at this point...Ill update if there are any problems in the future. All in all, its a beautiful monitor, it was a painless setup, and I highly recommend it! Merry Christmas to me! Have a good day!

Obviously there is nicer screens out there, but for a gamer on a budget, this works fantastically. Its large and has a clear picture and keeps up with streaming/gaming content over PC and Xbox with ease.

I was pretty excited to have this new monitor replace my old 2nd monitor until I tried to make it work. Set it up, plugged it in. connected the VGA cable to the computer (27 iMac running Windows 10 in Bootcamp): nothing except No signal. Hmm, strange I thought. So, just in case it was a bad VGA cable out of the box, I swapped the one that came with the monitor for one I knew worked with my computer. Sorry Charlie, no luck with that either. Try 3: Lets see what happens with an HDMI to Thunderbolt cable. Forget it, its Chinatown. Try 4: Lets boot into the MacOS side of things (High Sierra) and see what happens there? Maybe its a Win10 quirk. Sucker. Try 5: Lets upgrade to the latest MacOS (Mojave) and see if THAT fixes the problem. Houston we have a problem. Oh, and on top of that the upgrade to Mojave roached the Windows partition so I have that going for me too. In all cases, the desktop doesnt even detect that the monitor is plugged in. While Ive been trying to rebuild my desktop, I plugged it into my Macbook running Win7 and lo and be hold there is light! Indeed, the monitor works fine which means that (a) the cable is functional, (b) the monitor is functional, and (c) theres no real reason for it not to work as an external monitor for my iMac. Gonna give it one more go and then back in the box and back to Amazon it goes.

BEST TWO MONITORS I HAVE EVER HAD. 5 STARS QUALITY.

I needed an external monitor for my MacBook Pro for use primarily with Adobe Lightroom, and I couldnt decide on one. I tested this Dell, a lower-priced Spectre, and a higher-priced Philips 4K. All 27. Well, this monitor is the keeper. For a non-4K 27 monitor, Im quite impressed. Text isnt noticeably jaggy. Brightness & contrast are strong, colors are clear, robust and consistent. Matches my MacBook displays color (or, certainly close enough even for my picky eye) right out of the box with no tinkering to settings needed. Im connecting with a USB-C to HDMI cable, I made sure to get a cable that was rated for this purpose (easy to find on Amazon). The setup couldnt have been easier. I usually dont take time to write reviews but Im really happy with this monitor. I have no long-term info yet, Ive only had it a few days. For the price, Id say it would be really difficult (if not impossible) to find a higher quality monitor. If youre looking for a gaming monitor, you might want to go with a non-IPS model for the faster refresh rates (that said, I havent tried using this with my PS4 yet). If your primary use is photo / video editing, IPS is the way to go (based on my recent research) for richer, consistent colors.

Excellent quality monitor. Takes up less space on your desk than ordinary 27-inch monitors because there is no border around the viewable portion of the screen. Default settings are excellent, but if you do not like them they are very easy to adjust. Easily tilts up and down, which is all I need.

So this is yet another item I’ve purchased to help me through this pandemic. For several months I’ve been using my work laptop to sit and do telehealth all day. Getting a monitor this size is a game changer, all of a sudden I’m sitting upright and not hunched over a small screen. I’m not squinting trying to read small print on a tiny laptop. A great investment. I’ve always trusted Dell.
