> 3 dayDell products are always good, and this monitor is no different. I link it to a Dell laptop, and it worked perfectly immediately. I downloaded a display manager to get additional settings. I struggled a little with Adobe programmes looking fuzzy, but it turned out to be a Windows 10 setting problem. One problem, the HDMI connection doesnt include sound. I dont mind, but Dell support told me it did and after trying to find the audio problem for an hour a fellow customer told me it doesnt have a built-in speaker!

> 3 dayI like how easy it was to hook up and the quality of the screen.

hard but fun
> 3 dayGreat product, cant beat the price for the quality, only thing I would have liked (was already aware it wasnt offered, was a sliding up and down feature to lower and raise the monitor

> 3 dayI have sensitive eyes. My element tv and dell monitors are the only things I can use outside of plasma tvs. I also use a program that blocks blue light. This one might not be big enough for where Im using it; but I will keep it for another part of the house. Problem is, the 43 inch version is 5 times as much. Makes no sense.

> 3 dayIts a budget IPS 1080p monitor from Dell, so you basically know what youre getting. I was able to push it to 75hz, and it seems to handle it fine. Image is of the OSD showing that the monitor is running at 75hz. Response time seems okay at the higher frame rate. The OSD has a Response time overdrive option, but I think I prefer the normal option to fast. From 10 seconds of moving the cursor around the fast option looked a little too blurry. Didnt do too much testing with gaming but everything looked okay once vsync was enabled, without it the tearing was pretty bad. I set the sharpening to 0, everything else looked over-sharpened to me. The OSD has nice on screen guides pointing out where the buttons are, which makes it easier to navigate the menu. Im personally used to a VA panel so the colors dont look quite as saturated, but the downside of those monitors is slow response time which can make text/objects look smeary when scrolling/moving, so theres reasons to prefer an IPS panel. The pixel density of a 1080 27 panel means that at my viewing distance of about 30 things look a little pixel-y, optimum viewing distance assuming 20/20 vision for this display is about 40 inches. That was my fault for not measuring my normal viewing distance and selecting resolution based on that. I may end up returning this and getting a 1440p VA panel, but for a secondary display it might not be worth the extra price. Price point wise I think this is a great deal. They normally sit at about $150-60 but I got mine at $129.99 so if you track the price and buy when it goes on sale you can save a bit. Summary: Pros +Decent IPS panel +Overclockable to 75hz +Cheap +Nice OSD +Thin bezels Cons -Cheapo stand w/ no height adjust -No VESA mount so you are stuck with stand -Only HDMI and VGA, no DP -Big 1080p panel so might not be good for people who sit close to their desk

> 3 dayI own a later model Dell monitor. Purchased this one for dual monitors. Unfortunately the stand on this one isn’t as high as the stand on the original one I own. If the stand were adjustable or if the description included the stand height I would’ve rated it a 5.

> 3 dayThis monitor offers very little frills. But coming in at 27 inches it is perfect for those not wanting to have two monitors but allows for two windows side by side on the screen. It has several color dynamics in the menu and is a great picture quality.

> 3 dayI needed an external monitor for my MacBook Pro for use primarily with Adobe Lightroom, and I couldnt decide on one. I tested this Dell, a lower-priced Spectre, and a higher-priced Philips 4K. All 27. Well, this monitor is the keeper. For a non-4K 27 monitor, Im quite impressed. Text isnt noticeably jaggy. Brightness & contrast are strong, colors are clear, robust and consistent. Matches my MacBook displays color (or, certainly close enough even for my picky eye) right out of the box with no tinkering to settings needed. Im connecting with a USB-C to HDMI cable, I made sure to get a cable that was rated for this purpose (easy to find on Amazon). The setup couldnt have been easier. I usually dont take time to write reviews but Im really happy with this monitor. I have no long-term info yet, Ive only had it a few days. For the price, Id say it would be really difficult (if not impossible) to find a higher quality monitor. If youre looking for a gaming monitor, you might want to go with a non-IPS model for the faster refresh rates (that said, I havent tried using this with my PS4 yet). If your primary use is photo / video editing, IPS is the way to go (based on my recent research) for richer, consistent colors.

17-04-2025Great monitors if you are going to let them free stand on a desk. There is NO mounting holes to attach it to a swivel desk mount. That is the reason for 4 out of 5.

> 3 dayI purchased this screen as my second monitor for work. It’s definitely sizable where I can split the screen. It’s clear and brightness is very acceptable. One thing I didn’t consider is the lack of USB ports. If that’s not an issue, this will be perfect.
