I bought 2 of these monitors. They have a great picture, and a wide viewing angle BUT there is a flaw with how they built in the sockets for the power cable. I bump my desk and they flicker, the power cord isn’t seated well and the monitor looses power. It started on one, but now they both do it. The littlest little movement shuts them off, It’s so frustrating. It also seems to be getting worse, and I’ve only had them 3 weeks. Thinking of returning them.

My sole reason for buying this was I needed an extra screen for working from home. This fits that role perfectly. No extra frills, no gaming RGB lights, no super high refresh rate, average contrast, 1080p monitor, purely for having an extra screen while I work from home. If you just need the extra monitor space, I cant recommend this enough. Great budget option to fit that need. If youre looking for gaming or video editing, stay far away. You need to look at the $400 and up range (at least)

I own a later model Dell monitor. Purchased this one for dual monitors. Unfortunately the stand on this one isn’t as high as the stand on the original one I own. If the stand were adjustable or if the description included the stand height I would’ve rated it a 5.

The only thing I dont like is the angle which isnt perfect as it leans forward with no adjustment. Other than that its great.

I decided I wanted more screen real estate rather than higher res or higher refresh rate, especially since I game on console and didnt want a ridiculous refresh rate to ruin my console experience. I have done some gaming on it and it is excellent for my low refresh rate eyes to look at. Couldnt recommend it enough for a lower end but still beautiful monitor. Will be ordering two more to replace my other smaller and much older Dell monitors (seriously old, had one for 10+ years and it still works fine). I cant speak as to reliability has Ive only had it for a week but if its anything like my other Dell monitors, it will last for years.

The monitor is pretty good for a work computer. The size is great and you can easily have two web pages open at the same time without squinting or straining.

I like how easy it was to hook up and the quality of the screen.

Frankly, not much of a review of the screen itself because its perfect. Might as well be a photograph. I do note the viewing angle is so wide that it has no color or picture shifting even when you look at it totally from the side edge on. I do stream video sometime on it (Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix, etc.) and I might as well be watching a TV. I Dont use it for gaming (I dont do shot em ups or GTA stuff) so cant comment about that. Specs look good, but gamers are super hard core about bleeding, ghosting, etc. so no opinion there. I will say that blacks are very black, which is good, not the funky dark brown/green/blotchy/yuk stuff. I had a SE2717H (prior model of this one) that died after being on 24/7 for over two years. My other SE2717H is going strong and right next to this one. Picture is awesome, I love the IPS screen and I can work all day on it with no eye strain. IPS is all I buy anymore for myself or recommend to others. There are slightly better technologies out there now, but not for the money, especially MY money. Screen height is the same as the prior model so they go next to each other just fine. It is not adjustable up and down, only tilts front to back so it needs to be matched in hit to, not adjusted to match another monitor. There are no VESA mounting holes on the back so it must sit on the desk. The bezel is paper thin on this one (about 1/2 on the SE2717) but appears to be just under 1/4 due to the black edge on the panel itself. For $139.99 with next day delivery, you cant go wrong. Slight difference in the two is one is hooked up VGA and the other hooked up HDMI as they are the outputs on my PC. When I swapped the cables, the slight difference moved as well. The older model is on the left and is still running after two years being on and the new one is on the right. Packaging was the Dell box inside of a larger Amazon box with padding around the Dell box as well. I LOVE my Amazon delivery guys as the boxes always arrive without even a scratch. I have MS and now work from home exclusively and have had the Amazon guys actually carry stuff in for me. I cant say enough good stuff about them. Ordered Sunday, and arrived by 9:00 am Monday. In time for me to hook it up in place of the dead one and start my day. Super impressed. Didnt expect it until evening.

I now have 2 of these monitors for my home office setup. Overall, the quality is really good for the price point. The only major thing to note is that there isn’t a VESA mount on the back so you’ll have to buy an adapter if you want to connect the monitor to a stand/mount.

This monitor is WAY bigger than the 19 that I had before and I can see so more more on one screen. The picture quality is fantastic and its great when streaming movies or shows off my computer. Overall, very happy with this purchase and it arrived quickly (thanks to Amazon Prime!).
