> 24 hourProduct was lighter than expected… color was not exactly as I envisioned it but I like it. I have a smaller international size one I love so I am looking forward to this one being just as good.

> 24 hourIf this proves to be more durable, Ill gladly upgrade this to a 5star review. However, I have had to request a replacement after my 3rd trip (within a month). Trip 1 + 2 I was in an airplane, everything worked ok - except by the end of #2 one of the wheels started acting up. By the end of trip #3 which was by car the handle would not retract or come out - unless I removed the clothes / unzipped. It is also squeaking/etc... This really doesnt give me the confidence in this for the long term as my cheaper/crappier/older suitcases dont have these issues. All of this said... I do like this suitcase and hope the replacement lasts: - it rolls where ever you want - its shiny (if thats your thing) but itll probably dull out with some traveling - Ive noticed some scratches already - it has good storage capacity - perfect for a 1 - 2 weeks without needing to do laundry (depending on your habits) - it has an exterior pocket for your laptop - it has an integrated TSA compliant lock for the main compartment

> 24 hourI hunted for the perfect suitcase, and this looks like it, except for one problem. I have to return it as the tour group specified, (after it was shipped) that all suitcases had to be soft sided! So the hunt continues...

> 24 hourI used this to move from Chicago to Brasil. Best suitcase Ive owned in 49 years! My brother feels the same about his Delsey Paris too!

> 24 hourThis is our third Delsey Paris Helium Aero, and it will not disappoint . The color on the website is not representative of thf luggage color, but more aligned with brick red I guess. More brown in it than we anticipated. So if you are looking for a piece of luggage that will pop out on the luggage carousel, you might look for another. The box it came in was well chewed up, but despite the thin protection, the suitcase survived any dings or scratches.

> 24 hourThe jury is still out - though Ive used it three times now. I bought it so that my case wouldnt be too bulgey to fit overhead. Well its not, but the downside of that is that without unzipping the extension, its a little skimpy for - say - a 4 night trip (or more). And as others have said, the opening of it is kind of back to front. Both sections should have the zipped cover and the it would work more sensibly. Its scrunchable too - but for $90something, thats not a huge issue. Its NOT as light as Id wish - I think my next experiment will be a soft ultra-light one, even though I believe those arent going to be very long lived. It wheels well, looks good - and Im sure theres no perfect wheelie anyway!

> 24 hourI bought this luggage for a European trip. When it was unboxed and opened, there was an extremely strong, plastic-type chemical smell. We put the open luggage in the back porch with a fan for 24 and then 48 hours thinking that the smell would dissipate. It did not. So we did not take it on the trip. On return several days ago, the chemical smell is still there. We do not know if this is a manufacturing defect (such as an accidental excess of dye or other product used in manufacture) or simply the material that is now used in producing the luggage. It is inconceivable that someone would use the luggage with the smell since it would infiltrate clothing. There is a note that the material used in manufacture is a carcinigen in California. Notably, the exact same suitcase that we ordered in red some time ago did not have this problem. This is a very well-made and perfectly sized small suitcase, so this experience was discouraging.

> 24 hourUsed it only once, on an international trip, and there are already many scratches and deep nicks. That is unacceptable for a brand like this and at this price.

> 24 hourIt’s light weight and cabin sized which is prefect. Has plenty of storage for a light traveler like me for up to a week. The only gripe is that it scratches very easily and ruins the good looks after a few flights.

> 24 hourIts a cheap but functional hardshell polycarb suitcase. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the paint job on the outside is pretty terribly done -- lots of chipping on each trip. Still, most of us dont buy suitcases for their aesthetic appeal. On the durability front, Ive used it on around 10 trips now, and on probably a third of them, a corner was bent inwards, as if it was dropped (or a very angry and powerful United employee decided to punch the corner). No permanent damage -- very easy to just punch out the corner again. I know theres a tradeoff between weight and durability of hardshell suitcases, but would have still expected the suitcase to be a bit more durable, perhaps with a bit of reinforcement in the corners. For the price though, it does the job well. I just wouldnt put anything fragile in there.
