> 3 dayEasy two-step assembly: insert piston, put on seat. When in the lowest position, it rolls well and is stable when moving around the garage. Not low enough for some jobs, though. When elevated, it gets tippy. Ok for working at the bench, but not rolling around. Seat comfort is one step above a solid seat - not luxurious.

> 3 dayDewalt shop stool. Comes mostly together - just install the seat. My husband was so happy. Declared this is favorite gift this year. It has really sturdy wheels and rolls nicely - of course better when the shop floor is clean - but even with a little stuff on the floor it does well. Its very very heavy duty, weighty. The seat part is comfortable (according to hubby). He is a very big Dewalt fan - he would recommend this stool if you need one. It adjusts up and down about 5 or so. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. Its a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. Ive been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including over 24,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

> 3 daySo far I am very pleased, it is well built, very comfortable and it extends higher than most shop stools, and the assembly was quick and easy, unlike most stools, the casters were already attached, and it comes with additional feet if you don’t want to use the casters, it seems to be of very good quality, like you would expect from DeWalt

> 3 dayThis will fit for those than need something that can go higher. Been looking at stools and when I got injured and I couldnt move a lot the height of this was great. Its very sturdy and strong. Wheels are great and durable. Actually my kid took it rolling the down the street on it and it held up. Rolls great in the shop. Also the bottom tray helps a lot. Definitely like the look! What are the not so great things? Well of course if youre working low on your car note the minimum height. Maximum height is great. Also you can tip it if youre really leaning back a lot, but normal use you should be okay and not have an issue. People that said theres an issue with only sitting on the back of the chair I would disagree. However, those that says it drops a bit when at max height is true. Its very slight for me so not a big deal.

> 3 dayI looked at a lot of shop stools online and kept coming back to this one. Even some comparably priced stools seemed to lack the sturdiness of construction. So I went all-in and bought this DeWalt, and Im glad I did. The stool is solid and steady, and even without the casters, I can move it around easily on the tight-weave indoor-outdoor carpet.

> 3 dayI thought because of the name it would be worth the cost, I read the reviews and it seemed pretty good, and looked at some that cost more and some less..... it is not worth the name it says. The seat wouldnt be worth half the cost, it would not be something you would want to use regularly and it would piss you off sitting in the corner. Its stiff and has no real cushion or give to it. I guess the height didnt cross my mind, to see a shop stool is starts off lower and goes up to a medium height so you can work on stuff you are building.... most people in a shop, if your working on the work bench or assembly bench most people stand and might like a stool occasionally .....this is only good for sitting at a work area that is as high as a counter or a bar.... its lowest spot is higher than an office chair. And set at its lowest height, my feet barely hit the floor flat and Im of average height....this would not be of use for working on anything low, you would be hunched over the whole time while trying to work. I think Dewalt made a big mistake putting their name on this. Their bar stools, would be a hit a bar. These would be a hit at a theme set dinning area....but of not much use, and a reminder of money wasted on a piece of eye candy of no practical use in a shop. But it would be cool around a fire pit with some after work refreshments.

> 3 dayLove the stool, not so much the padded seat. It is too small and not comfortable at all, feels like I am always falling off. I will be looking for a better seat.

> 3 dayThis is a well built and sturdy piece of equipment, except for the casters. After having this for 1 year, one of the casters began to separate and lose ball bearings. I replaced the casters with heavy duty casters rated at 500+ lbs each and it now glides across the floor.
