> 3 dayGreat stool - 4 star because the 4-point stand with wheels tends to tilt when moving side to side.

Greater than one weekFirst, a few cons that I have experienced- 1) wishing it has a foot rest attachment to use when fully extended high. 2) Also, in the opposite range, wishing the stem would compress lower (maybe down to 18 inches from the floor), to reach the ground without having to dismount. Seems it would be to hace it that low if the casters were removed and replaced by the fixed boots that come included. 3) And last, the seat padding can get a bit stiff after a couple hours ride. Pros- That being the case, I do enjoy the convenience of mobility by having the casters on all the time. These casters are, hardy, smooth and quiet. The overall assembly was easy. Basically, screwing in the casters or boots (your choice), then placing the hydraulic stem riser in the pocket of the base and the seat locks to the top. The build is solid, yet in spite of its rugged looks it is lightweight, making it able to lift, carry and store easily. All in all, this is a great buy.

> 3 dayThis is a well built and sturdy piece of equipment, except for the casters. After having this for 1 year, one of the casters began to separate and lose ball bearings. I replaced the casters with heavy duty casters rated at 500+ lbs each and it now glides across the floor.

07-06-2025I love it. I do wish they made a version with real back support like a drafting chair. That said, I use this thing every day in the shop. You can have either casters or fixed feet. I use the caster and like I said, I use it constantly working at my bench. Great buy.

Greater than one week20220407: I love DeWalt stuff, and wanted to give this 5 stars, but the base is not wide enough. If the seat is raised up it is _very_ easy to tip over. The wheels are a bit stiff, so trying to slide around with a higher seat tends to make the seat tip over. Lowering the seat and using your legs more keeps it stable, but DeWalt could have done much better by simply making the base wider. The base is almost exactly the same width as the seat, so the entire unit is less stable, tall and skinny. Assembly was extra-easy. The units comes in three pieces: the seat, the neck, and the base. Put the neck into the base, place the seat on the neck, adjust the height once, and it is ready to go. DeWalt provides some flat feet if you want to remove the casters. I did not use them, but maybe there is some scenario where that would be useful. Construction: the base is steel with DeWalt-yellow baked on enamel. If I read correctly, DeWalt has an accessory system that probably allows some small items to be attached to the base. The U-channels have a pattern cut into the steel that seems to be for attaching something. Ive not looked into that too much, so cant say any more about that. The wheels are about medium size, and heavy, but they dont turn as easily as I would have liked (see my comment above on tipping too easily). The seat is solid and comfortable. Overall, it is a good solid work stool.

> 3 dayI was looking for a good stool for my workshop that had a large seat that would fit my double wide derriere and this one works well. It doesnt tip and wheels easily. My only complaint is that the the black plastic pieces that fit in the corners of the tool tray at the bottom were all chipped and broken in the box, but I suppose those are just decorative anyway. But still I would think for the money all the parts would be good.

> 3 dayEasy to assemble out of the box, sturdy, comfy, and yellow/black. Pricey but seems like it will last longer than the others I considered. Go ahead, live a little.

Greater than one weekIt was very easy to assemble, it’s sturdy, easy to move around, but there must not be any padding in the seat. IT’S SO UNCOMFORTABLE! I’m very disappointed! I got this for my husband for his shop because when he stands a long time, he has hip and back pain. This has not helped because he doesn’t use it much because of the comfort issue. I will be modifying it with a nice pillow, I think.

> 3 dayNot worth the expense, big let down! Uncomfortable and doesn’t roll freely when your performing seated tasks.
