> 24 hourThe listing calls these socks CREW socks. The pictures show crew length socks. However when they were delivered they are actually BOOT socks and are the length of boot socks. This makes them too long. Sadly I will be returning even though the quality is exactly what we wanted.

> 24 hourEDIT 2/20/23: Wow, the pilling is beyond belief w/these socks. Nice thickness, warm, good fit after washing (im size 10 womens). Womens version of heavy socks w/wool blend are too small, even b4 washing, and too poorly made -- after one wearing, Im sewing the toe seams back together. These shrunk to just the right size for me after washing in warm water and drying in machine on medium heat. However, the foot area fuzzes w/any friction. The cuff is woven differently but it does same thing albeit less. Also, the cuff is a bit snug and comes up pretty high. Ive got thin ankles and average size calves for a woman w/my overall build, and the top of cuff cuts in slightly. Yet w/all my complaints, Id buy them again since they are bulky enough and warm enough for me.

> 24 hourSmall size is perfect for me. Wish I could get them in BLACK — what they call black isn’t really black.

> 24 hourThese are my favorite socks. Perfect for every occasion: dress and casual. I even work out in these socks. The Merino wool stays warm even when wet and they breath great, so tgey aren’t too hot.

> 24 hourI love these wool socks for myself and I wear them under a fluffy big slipper sock. I needed extra warmth because my feet are always cold. They keep me very comfortable.

> 24 hourI wear a size 8 womens shoe and the size medium are a little bigger than I like. Going to buy the small. Reviews said they shrink after washing and drying and although they did a little straight from the dryer, they still stretch out and are baggy.

> 24 hourI bought these socks to keep my feed warm in bed and have never worn them any other time. They are comfortable, fit well and nicely cushioned. They definitely have kept my feet warm. My only complaint is that they started to pill a lot right away. They are covered in rather large wool balls so I would never wear them other than in bed.
