> 3 daythey are a bit stretchy and fit a bit bigger than a smartwool of the same size. May be an issue for agressive hiking where the shoe might tend to slip.

> 3 dayNo issues at all with these socks. Warm and well fitting. I only wish they were available in a true brown. These are a light brown intermixed with white.

> 3 dayThese were perfect for what I needed. I usually wear anklets and I walk about 5 miles everyday. This winter my ankles were getting cold and with a new pair of hiking boots, I was also getting blisters. These socks are about mid calf in length and are much heavier. Not only do they keep me warmer - they have helped eliminate the blisters. I am very likely to buy again!

> 3 dayBought after researching best , warm socks for steel toe boots. the steel gets extremely cold here in NY. They are great when moving around. No better than cotton when standing still directing traffic all day. I bought 9 pair to cover everyday wearing. I expected more from them than i got. As long as you are moving around and wearing insulated boots, you will be warm. Standing in one place for long periods of time, they wont help.

> 3 dayGood quality for the price. They are probably good hiking material, but I actually used them for skiing in March temperatures. Worked perfect!!

> 3 dayI spent 3 years as an infantryman in the harsh winters of Germany. These are really good for the quality, in the end no sock is going to keep your feet completely warm even with these and winters water proof boots. Eventually your feet will get cold unless you also have foot warmers. I’ve had these for like 2 years and washed them regularly . Still no holes and they are pretty thick. For the price they are a deal. I would even go on to say they are better than Darn tuffs and you get 3 pairs for less the price of one. It’s worth it . The pair I got 3 years ago where great . Just ordered some 2022 March and they are now so thin they arnt worth a dam. They skimped on material so now they are so thin wind just breaths threw them. Disappointing they should have just kept making them the same way.

> 3 dayI have ordered another set and we will see if they are also okay. They are warm enough that I can wear my sneakers in the cold without a problem and they are soft and comfortable. They do shrink some, but so far not to much and usually if I run my hand through them before I put them away they fit fine.

Greater than one weekQuality is meh for the price (even if you’re getting 3 pairs). I don’t have any expectations with regard to longevity - they may only last one season as they’re very loosely knit and floppy and stretch out after one wear. The light grey trio IS 80% wool however. I wear them inside Ugg sherpa lined boots while watching my kids skating lessons and my feet are cold. My son wears them snowboarding and complains of cold feet as well. They just aren’t warm. The size guide is completely wrong as well. SMALL is listed as fitting childrens’ shoe size 1-3.5. I wear a 3.5 kids (woman’s 5) and these are at least a size 6 MINIMUM (childrens 4). There’s no way these would fit a child size 1. I’ll wash and dry and hope they shrink a little or a lot.
