> 3 dayThe socks are a little on the large size, but better that than a little on the small size. I have worn them through only one washing cycle and they didnt shrink in the dryer, which is good. We have -15°F forecast for tomorrow morning, it will be a good test of how good these socks really are. So far I am pleased, for the price they seem to be a good purchase.

> 3 dayThese socks are very much worth the money. 80% wool which helps to wick moisture to keep your feet dry. i wear wool socks all year round. These are my winter socks as they are a little thicker than the ones I wear in the summer. They are not hot at all. I even wear them to play golf in the summer. These socks are boot style and fit halfway up the calf. Perfect for winter.

> 3 dayThe listing calls these socks CREW socks. The pictures show crew length socks. However when they were delivered they are actually BOOT socks and are the length of boot socks. This makes them too long. Sadly I will be returning even though the quality is exactly what we wanted.

These, I am pleased to say, do stay up. They run a bit larger than I expected, however. I wear a womans 9½ or 10 boot and bought the medium size, which is supposed to fit 6-10½. They did shrink a bit after washing, but still are a bit large. Not a huge problem as they fit snugly around my foot and ankle and have a nice soft lining.
