> 24 hourThese socks are for my wife, whose feet tend to be cold all the time so that she lives in wool socks. Over the past couple of years she has appropriated and worn out all my backpacking socks and now we are in the process of replacing them. We both love merino wool and were attracted by the relative low price of these socks. She loves the socks - nice and warm and comfortable. They are the tiniest bit large for her and, possibly as a result, have a tendency to droop a bit. However not bad enough to even deduct a star. It has been a long time since she had a new pair of Smartwools, but these are in the same class. The worst thing about them is that when I tried to order more, Amazon says that they are out out and don’t know when they will be back, which I read as they have stopped carrying them.

> 24 hourI am a size 8 in womens. I thought I had done enough research on the sizing for these socks but apparently not. The medium was too large for me. I should have gotten small.

> 24 hourAlthough they are warm they fit your leg like a vice. Maybe that is the intent so they do not fall down. But they were too tight for my average size leg.

> 24 hourThese are the warmest socks that I have ever owned. I really struggle to stay warm in winter and these socks are very good. I wear mens 11 and they are a little larger than my foot but this does not diminish anything about the product for me. These socks also have a very nice and smooth exterior texture while they are very warm and fluffy on the inside.

> 24 hourI am very prone to getting blisters on hikes and I heard that Merino wool socks help. I done 18 miles in these socks and not a blister in sight. They also didnt slip on the heels. Well worth the $$. They wash well too.

> 24 hourI have a small hobby farm in Maine and am out in all kinds of weather. Ive had a lot of difficulty finding warm socks that will stay up in my muck boots. These, I am pleased to say, do stay up. They run a bit larger than I expected, however. I wear a womans 9½ or 10 boot and bought the medium size, which is supposed to fit 6-10½. They did shrink a bit after washing, but still are a bit large. Not a huge problem as they fit snugly around my foot and ankle and have a nice soft lining.

> 24 hourSmall size is perfect for me. Wish I could get them in BLACK — what they call black isn’t really black.

> 24 hourI love these wool socks for myself and I wear them under a fluffy big slipper sock. I needed extra warmth because my feet are always cold. They keep me very comfortable.
