I used 1-2 inch standards and to my surprise every standards reading was spot on to the thousandths. For 20.00 you cant as for a better product.

> 3 dayThis is a great tool. I have lost count of how many times Ive used this, since I bought it. I have compared this caliper to 6 others and outside of a couple, the readings were exact. The display on the caliper is very easy to read. To change different measuring options is very easy. The carrying case makes it extremely easy to carry it around with me. I like the extra batteries and screwdriver that come with it, which also fits in the carrying case.
