This backpack is everything I had hoped for. It has multiple interior and exterior compartments to help me maintain organization. My laptop fits nicely in the middle storage compartment. I think it is an excellent choice for a carry on item when flying. The largest compartment is great for a jacket or extra set of clothes. I really like that the straps can be stored in a zipped up compartment when they are not needed. For the price, this backpack is an excellent value!

I have used this bag for more than 6 trips. Most of them have been 7 days or longer. It counts as a carry on on all arlines Ive tried, and I have also used it as a personal item on Spirit, Frontier, and United. It fits under the seats, but is a tight squeeze if its full on the aisle seat. This bag has more pockets for organizing that other similar bags. I really like the extra front pockets, which allow you to organize your smaller items well, and the tech pocket with the padded area is perfect for my tablet or computer. I never check a bag when I travel and this bag fits everything I needed for an 8 day cruise and a 10 day honeymoon. There are a few improvements that could make this bag even better, though. The interior compression strap buckles are very flimsy - one broke after the first time I used it, which is disappointing and means I cant compress items as well as I should be able to anymore. Also, it would work better if the exterior compression straps were sewn outside of the zippers. When you cinch them tight, it stresses the zippers and seems like they will eventually fail because of this. If the strap had been seen to the other side of the zipper, it would squeeze the zipper instead of stressing it. I also wish it had a hip belt for more support. When its full, and you are carrying it for a while, it gets pretty uncomfortable in the shoulders and rubs a lot. Lastly, the water bottle pocket doesnt work well because of the zipper design, it is too narrow at the bottom and water bottles tend to pop out. So, while I feel that this is a good basic travel pack, there are the few things that set it apart from a much more expensive travel pack. Overall, for the money, I am very happy with this bag versus other that cost 3x times more.

Good bag for the money; bought for air travel and it fit in the overhead bin just fine. Would not fit under the seat in front of me. Can get pretty heavy if packed full.

Quality is great, need to see how it will work in real life/travel experience.

I ordered this bag for my son who was traveling overseas a lot. He loved it so much that I ended up ordering one for myself. It’s the best bag I have. It fits so much stuff and it’s comfortable to carry.

Im so happy with this backpack. Its really roomy and has been great for train travel. The straps are comfortable and being able to zip them away is a great feature and the padding keeps my computer and things safe. Its been hard-wearing and I know it will last me for a lot of years.

Held up on 1 flight so far, good size, really like the fact that you can tuck the straps in and hide them for a more sleek bag when you have it on your wheeled bag. Only think I dont like is the straps on the side, there not necessary for my use. Maybe they help save the zipper from a blow out if you checked the bag but I used it as a carry on.

If you are on a budget, this would be a great backpack to consider. I took it on a 16 day European trip-- I was able to pack my clothes to deal the summer and fall climates and did laundry only once. Straps are well padded and I was able to use it as a carry-on all the airlines with no issues. For Ryanair airlines, I just purchased the Priority option because it averaged only $12 per flight. The compartments are spacious and I was able to carry a lot. Keep in mind though, if you pack it to its max (which I did) it can become very bulky and heavy. The external pockets are great for your smaller items for quick access. And the handles on the side and top of the bag makes it very convenient. Experienced no quality issues with this bag-- every held up perfectly with no rips or failed zippers even with the bag being filled to the brim. Not to mention the great minimalist design-- the black one doesnt shout their logo nor does look it flashy. My complaints about this bag: 1. it does not come with a hip belt. When you fill this bag to its max capacity, it can put a lot of strain on your shoulders if its on your back for over 20 minutes. I find myself having to put it down and rest for a bit before continuing to walk further. But if you are really walking too much (ex. taking transport directly to your destination), it wouldnt be an issue. But for the price point of this bag, I do not expect a quality hip belt to distribute weight. 2. The laptop compartment is in the front and not in the back. A laptop can get heavy and it would be a better weight balance for it to be on the back. If you will not be bringing a laptop, then this wouldnt really matter. 3. The black color picks up dust and blemishes easier. Overall this is a solid bag for a great price compared to similar bags on Amazon-- cant really beat the price. Just dont pack it to the max capacity if you expect to carry it for over 20 minutes. I highly recommend it for all the budget conscience shoppers.

Got this backpack to put under the plane seat and it fits perfect… cosmetics, skincare, makeup, hair brush, deodorant, hairspray (travel sizes), large laptop fit in the front compartments; 3 shorts, leggings, 3 tshirts, jeans, flip flops, hat, flat iron, and and a few other items fit perfectly in the large compartment. Honestly I don’t know how in the world I did it. It was a challenge for me to take as little as possible so I didn’t need to pay $60 for a carry-on with Frontier. Bag is sturdy. Very good quality. I can definitely use it for other stuff. I feel like this is such a good bang for the buck! I bought a second bag! Highly recommend! Get this bag and fly with a sense of accomplishment!
