> 3 dayI travel a bunch for work, so Ive got strong opinions about travel suitcases. This one is -- and has been -- my go-to for any trips that are three days or less. It is well made and sits nice on my shoulder with its shoulder strap. There are also several individual spaces in the bag --- including one for a computer and one for wet gear. That is a feature you dont often see in a bag at this price point. If you want to know JUST how much I like this bag, I was devastated recently when my wifes cat peed on it. My direct quote: That cat better hope that I can get another one of those bags! Sure enough, I could. The cat got off easy. ; )

> 3 dayIm amazed how durable this bag seems to be. I got this one for my wife on our upcoming trip to Europe and I will be getting the AER Travel Pack 2. Honestly this bag is great I like the fact it is a 40L (max allowed on most airlines and since well be traveling on American Airlines it shouldnt be a problem). I also like the amounts of pockets that it has, including a false bottom for the laptop compartment since its located on the outer pocket which causes it to be placed away from the bottom like 1 inch away. downsides...needed more padding for the back. Does not have lockable zippers (and they dont seem to be YKK) overall great bag at an affordable price.

> 3 dayI spent a week in Europe, and this is the only bag I packed... And I STILL overpacked. I used packing cubes for my clothes. The zipper on this bag opens completely when laid flat, like a suitcase. You can see all of your items and not have to dig blindly. Just when I thought I was out of space, I remembered the outer zippers (Dont forget the large one!) Youd be surprised how much you can cram in those smaller compartments. Zippers are smooth, bag is thick and sturdy. Padding on the inside so nothing digs into your back and hurts while youre wearing it. Bonus, I did not feel like a tourist with this simple black pack. Also, I didnt have to worry about uneven streets / cobblestones with a rolling bag. I felt confident that this would fit under the airplane seat if the overhead bins were full.

> 3 dayI like to travel luggage free for quick trips. This is a great bag. The only real design flaw is the front pockets only have one zipper each. This results in having to open the flap entirely. Not a good experience if you planning on using your pocket for small items (make up, keys, sanitizer, eye drops) all the items will fall out if you need to look for something.

> 3 dayI bought this one and forgot to look at one thing: This backpack is not expandable, so the size is what it is. It works if you travel lite, but if you have a bit more, I recommend other backpacks that offer more versatility.

> 3 dayI am extremely impressed with this backpack. The material is very nice and well made. At first I was afraid that it was going to look to big and puffy. However, in person it is large or puffy at all. It is actually a nice size. This is a very good weekend get away backpack. The main storage area can fit at least 2-3.days worth of clothing. You can fit your laptop and tablet safely. The only thing I wish it can do is stand up on its own when there is nothing inside. Other than that, amazing travel backpack.

Greater than one weekI have used this bag for more than 6 trips. Most of them have been 7 days or longer. It counts as a carry on on all arlines Ive tried, and I have also used it as a personal item on Spirit, Frontier, and United. It fits under the seats, but is a tight squeeze if its full on the aisle seat. This bag has more pockets for organizing that other similar bags. I really like the extra front pockets, which allow you to organize your smaller items well, and the tech pocket with the padded area is perfect for my tablet or computer. I never check a bag when I travel and this bag fits everything I needed for an 8 day cruise and a 10 day honeymoon. There are a few improvements that could make this bag even better, though. The interior compression strap buckles are very flimsy - one broke after the first time I used it, which is disappointing and means I cant compress items as well as I should be able to anymore. Also, it would work better if the exterior compression straps were sewn outside of the zippers. When you cinch them tight, it stresses the zippers and seems like they will eventually fail because of this. If the strap had been seen to the other side of the zipper, it would squeeze the zipper instead of stressing it. I also wish it had a hip belt for more support. When its full, and you are carrying it for a while, it gets pretty uncomfortable in the shoulders and rubs a lot. Lastly, the water bottle pocket doesnt work well because of the zipper design, it is too narrow at the bottom and water bottles tend to pop out. So, while I feel that this is a good basic travel pack, there are the few things that set it apart from a much more expensive travel pack. Overall, for the money, I am very happy with this bag versus other that cost 3x times more.

> 3 dayWhen youre flying on a budget airline this bag is within the dimensions of a personal garment bag and fly’s for free. Each member of my family has one and its paid for itself many times over with carry-on luggage costing more than a ticket. We flew to Vegas from SFO for $50 RT. A carry on would have been $160 RT ? Even if you’re taking a carry on this is a nice bag to bring back souvenirs.
