07-06-2025I needed a backpack to backpack through Portugal for 10 days. I thought this one would be cool as it opens up like a suit case. I will warn buyers it is a solid size, not in a bad way, just it didnt fit under my seat on the way to Portugal, and it was hard to get in the overhead compartment when it was full, but on the way home the plane was not as packed and it fit above me with ease, so just beware that it needs to go in the overhead compartment if you have it full. That was my only thing, not a complaint just a comment. I fit everything I needed for 10 days in the bag and it went great! If youre wondering how much... -ipad, book, notebook, makeup bag, hair, shower, and toiletries bag (I know I overpacked this stuff lol), 3 leggings, 2 jeans, enough underwear and socks for 10 days, 7 tops, adaptor, charger, stuff like that, a hat, belt, jewlery, like I got everything I needed and more into this bag with ease, I used packing cubes which helped but I love this bag

> 3 dayI chose this out of all the others because a reviewer mentioned that it protected his laptop well, but I do not see how. The edge of your laptop facing down will be right up against the ground and will not survive a short fall. Its still a good bag, Im sure, but all the other bags seem to fail in the same way, if they just stitched it so your laptop were suspended above the bottom of the bag then it would be fine, and wouldnt even need padding.

Greater than one weekVery nice backpack. Was surprised at how heavy it was. Decided it wouldn’t work for my trip abroad. In fairness to the product I have a preexisting back issue so I’m more conscious of weight.

> 3 dayThis bag came in handy while traveling to Indonesia. Perfect size for a carryon. Could fit in the overhead compartment as well as under most seats if needed. Loved all the different pouches and pockets this had so I could keep my things organized.

> 3 dayWhen youre flying on a budget airline this bag is within the dimensions of a personal garment bag and fly’s for free. Each member of my family has one and its paid for itself many times over with carry-on luggage costing more than a ticket. We flew to Vegas from SFO for $50 RT. A carry on would have been $160 RT ? Even if you’re taking a carry on this is a nice bag to bring back souvenirs.

> 3 dayI bought this to use when traveling with solely a “personal item” (under the seat in front of you). I have used this on United, Spirit, Southwest, and Frontier, and it has fit under the seat in front of me for all of them (but it’s a little bit of a squeeze if you packed it completely full.) Was worth the price for me.

Greater than one weekIt was too heavy with all my things to carry around a large airport as carryon but would make a great weekend bag traveling from car.

> 3 dayThese backpacks are sturdy and reliable. We traveled with two of these in Europe. They were comfortable even when completely packed. The zippers and buckles work well. We really liked the fact that the packs open like a suitcase not a backpack.

Greater than one weekI have used this bag for more than 6 trips. Most of them have been 7 days or longer. It counts as a carry on on all arlines Ive tried, and I have also used it as a personal item on Spirit, Frontier, and United. It fits under the seats, but is a tight squeeze if its full on the aisle seat. This bag has more pockets for organizing that other similar bags. I really like the extra front pockets, which allow you to organize your smaller items well, and the tech pocket with the padded area is perfect for my tablet or computer. I never check a bag when I travel and this bag fits everything I needed for an 8 day cruise and a 10 day honeymoon. There are a few improvements that could make this bag even better, though. The interior compression strap buckles are very flimsy - one broke after the first time I used it, which is disappointing and means I cant compress items as well as I should be able to anymore. Also, it would work better if the exterior compression straps were sewn outside of the zippers. When you cinch them tight, it stresses the zippers and seems like they will eventually fail because of this. If the strap had been seen to the other side of the zipper, it would squeeze the zipper instead of stressing it. I also wish it had a hip belt for more support. When its full, and you are carrying it for a while, it gets pretty uncomfortable in the shoulders and rubs a lot. Lastly, the water bottle pocket doesnt work well because of the zipper design, it is too narrow at the bottom and water bottles tend to pop out. So, while I feel that this is a good basic travel pack, there are the few things that set it apart from a much more expensive travel pack. Overall, for the money, I am very happy with this bag versus other that cost 3x times more.
