> 3 dayIf you are on a budget, this would be a great backpack to consider. I took it on a 16 day European trip-- I was able to pack my clothes to deal the summer and fall climates and did laundry only once. Straps are well padded and I was able to use it as a carry-on all the airlines with no issues. For Ryanair airlines, I just purchased the Priority option because it averaged only $12 per flight. The compartments are spacious and I was able to carry a lot. Keep in mind though, if you pack it to its max (which I did) it can become very bulky and heavy. The external pockets are great for your smaller items for quick access. And the handles on the side and top of the bag makes it very convenient. Experienced no quality issues with this bag-- every held up perfectly with no rips or failed zippers even with the bag being filled to the brim. Not to mention the great minimalist design-- the black one doesnt shout their logo nor does look it flashy. My complaints about this bag: 1. it does not come with a hip belt. When you fill this bag to its max capacity, it can put a lot of strain on your shoulders if its on your back for over 20 minutes. I find myself having to put it down and rest for a bit before continuing to walk further. But if you are really walking too much (ex. taking transport directly to your destination), it wouldnt be an issue. But for the price point of this bag, I do not expect a quality hip belt to distribute weight. 2. The laptop compartment is in the front and not in the back. A laptop can get heavy and it would be a better weight balance for it to be on the back. If you will not be bringing a laptop, then this wouldnt really matter. 3. The black color picks up dust and blemishes easier. Overall this is a solid bag for a great price compared to similar bags on Amazon-- cant really beat the price. Just dont pack it to the max capacity if you expect to carry it for over 20 minutes. I highly recommend it for all the budget conscience shoppers.

> 3 dayFit underneath seats of British Airways, RyanAir, EasyJet, TAP Air Portugal, Vueling, Aer Lingus, Air France, etc, provided you dont completely overstuff. Looks barely used after 40 day backpacking trip. Would highly recommend packing dividers/packing cubes as it will make your life so much easier. Only complaint is that the water bottle holder is a bit stiff and doesnt hold large bottles well

Greater than one weekI have used the same backpack for 20 years and it was time to upgrade. This bag is durable with a stronger connection of the straps than other brands I looked at, so Im less concerned that they will break by their hooks. The black is closer to gray. This bag has several pockets, smaller than other packs which I like for organization. The laptop pocket is large and a good option for things beyond a laptop. The packing cubes are a hit with size options. I fit enough for a four day conference easily. Then the backpack stored under the seat for my flights much better than my previous bag. My only annoyance was the zipper for hiding the straps was folding down and I used a safety pin to secure it up as I was using the straps. I also added a thin pad to the pocket that holds the backpack straps for a little extra cushion on my back. Im very pleased with this backpack after rejecting two similar models.

Greater than one weekThis back pack is amazing. Great construction. Super strong and sturdy, yet flexible and handy. It comes with 3 cubes to help pack easier and more organized. Absolutely great product! Is the largest carryon/personal item you can have and it doesnt count as carry on.

> 3 dayIn the name of being cheap and avoiding airline baggage fees, I bought 3 of these bags. They were easy to carry as a backpack- although you can hold it like a suitcase but not preference. The bag can hold a lot of clothes!! I laid the clothes flat instead of rolled or folded, my oldest child folded clothes nicely and my 12 years just stuffed clothes haphazardly. We did 3 weeks of travel (each with 1 bag). My bag was probably packed too much which made it heavier but that was due to all of my clothes :). We have used the bags about 3 times for airline travels as carryons in the span of a 5-6 weeks and it has been so much easier when navigating our travel. I appreciate the pockets and compartments as well as the straps that can be tighten when worn as a backpack. I think you will be surprised about the capacity and the bag itself might be bigger than you anticipate.

> 3 dayThis bag held up extremely well. Please do not overstuff it if you want to take it as a personal item free of charge on flight like we did (see pic) it definitely fit in the carryon slot as you can see in 2nd pic for a charge.. the bag was light and comfortable to carry, handles did not rip during travel, I love that it opens wide like a suitcase and has many different compartments. If you’re wondering I flew frontier and it met the guidelines of carryon one way and personal item on the way back as I didn’t stuff it so DO NOT pass on this amazing bag

> 3 dayThis bag is very useful for short trips. I do wish that it had a waist strap because when you’re traveling and have a lot of things it can get heavy. You can fit a lot of stuff in the bag and I really appreciated how many pockets there were. Being able to unzip the bag like a suitcase helped me stay more organized and just made everything easier.

> 3 dayI bought this to use when traveling with solely a “personal item” (under the seat in front of you). I have used this on United, Spirit, Southwest, and Frontier, and it has fit under the seat in front of me for all of them (but it’s a little bit of a squeeze if you packed it completely full.) Was worth the price for me.

Greater than one weekUsed this backpack as my personal item in addition to my carry on when traveling to Hawaii for a 9 day trip. Had to pack for a wedding I was attending, outdoorsy/getting dirty things, beach trips, and casual day-to-day wear, so I had a lot to pack. But this backpack helped a TON. It was able to fit enough for probably 3-4 days of my stuff and still have room for my laptop, books and other stuff Id want for the plane. I also LOVED that the side pouch for a water bottle stretched enough to hold my 32oz Hydroflask-type bottle (no other backpack has been able to do that), and it had an additional stretchy strap that held it in place so it didnt flop around or fall out. Would highly recommend this backpack - GREAT product, and especially great for the price! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I like when pockets have two zippers so they can meet in the middle - the smaller pockets only have one so you have to take a little extra precaution to make sure nothing falls out of the smaller pocket on top when you open it up.
