> 3 dayThis backpack looks great and will definitely help with short travel. However, it smells so heavy of roses/perfume once its opened. I like the layout of the backpack. So, i am crossing my fingers I can get the smell out. If I can not I may be back to square one looking for another travel backpack

> 3 dayI was looking for a backpack/carryon and bought this one after viewing Jackie M’s video in the Amazon reviews. The pack safely stores my electronics and functions as a suitcase or a backpack. The blue is denim like and very attractive. Amazing value for the money!

05-06-2025I used this bag for a long weekend trip and it worked perfectly! I had the bag stuffed with 5 days worth of outfits, a pair of sneakers, and a small bag of toiletries and it all fit. Note: I did use travel compression bags for the clothes. With the help of the ratchet straps, I was able to cinch the bag down as small as possible and the bag fit under the plane seat! The bag was very full so I was nervous they would make me check it, but with a little kick it fit! On the return flight there was enough overhead space available, and the bag fit perfectly up there as well. The bag was a bit heavy, but I was able to walk around the city with ease and I didnt have to drag a carryon suitcase around.

> 3 dayI bought this when Frontier airlines started being incredibly picky about personal size bags which they make you put in the bins now to see if they are small enough. They charge $100 as a carry on if they dont meet their size requirements. After multiple flights on Frontier, Spirt, and Allegiant, this bag has passed all their tests.

04-06-2025Ive only used this for a month but so far its lived up to its expectations. The design is very well thought out (everything seems practical, no wtf were they thinking components), and the padding on the back makes it pretty comfy even when stuffed full and quite heavy. The look and quality (e.g. the zippers) are also really impressive for the price. I looked at tons of options and even ordered two others, but sent those back. Ive recommended this bag to friends, so would recommend it to you as well, dear reader.

> 3 dayIm 52 and this 17 pack fits perfectly. It weighs ~4 lbs empty which seems fairly standard for this style backpack. The features I wanted were a sideopening (like a suitcase) a pocket to store the shoulder straps(in case I have to check it) and a pocket for my Ipad. In addition, this pack also has some smaller outside pockets for passport, cellphone, anything you may need to access easily. It has an adjustable holder for a water bottle with an additional strap to secure it. It also has straps to cinch the backpack tighter to decrease the fullness.A previous contributer commented that it would be better for the smaller ouside pockets to be against your back so they couldnt be accessed by pickpockets. I dont disagree but I always use a travel waist belt for my important papers so thats not an issue for me. I was looking for a backpack with a waist belt also but that typically adds another 40.00 to the cost. This backpack doesnt really shift too much when I bend over so it wasnt worth the extra expense. Im only using it in airports. If I planned to go hiking I would have looked for a much different backpack. I packed a poncho, sweatshirt, 5 pair of slacks, 7 tops, personal items, brush, ipad, essentially enough for 1+ week and had additinal space left to pack more. The stitching and zippers look like they will hold up well with heavy use. Overall, this is the pack I plan to use for a 3 week vacation next spring. Great price and well constructed. Since I havent used it yet I only gave it 4 stars but I have no doubts it will earn 5 once I travel with it. Update 3/2023 Just traveled to Cancun from North Carolina. I was able to pack enough for a week without difficulty. Some of the things I realized... I could not use the water bottle holder if I cinched the bag to make the depth smaller; theres a key holder on the inside pocket and this was great. One of the pockets on the inside was waterproof. My pack weighed 14 pounds total once I had it fully packed. Im 68 and my husband is 78 and we had no difficulty getting the pack on or walking long distances with it. The weight on our shoulders were evenly distributed and very comfortable. I absolutely loved the pocket to tuck the straps into. This feature was handy when I chose to carry the pack instead of wearing it. The small front pocket was perfect for our 1 quart liquid bag and was easily accesses.Overall I was very pleased with all the features. I will use it as a carryon for my 3 week trip to Europe since I plan to bring back gifts and will be checking a bag. I highly recommend this backpack based on its functionality and excellent price.

Greater than one weekI needed a backpack to backpack through Portugal for 10 days. I thought this one would be cool as it opens up like a suit case. I will warn buyers it is a solid size, not in a bad way, just it didnt fit under my seat on the way to Portugal, and it was hard to get in the overhead compartment when it was full, but on the way home the plane was not as packed and it fit above me with ease, so just beware that it needs to go in the overhead compartment if you have it full. That was my only thing, not a complaint just a comment. I fit everything I needed for 10 days in the bag and it went great! If youre wondering how much... -ipad, book, notebook, makeup bag, hair, shower, and toiletries bag (I know I overpacked this stuff lol), 3 leggings, 2 jeans, enough underwear and socks for 10 days, 7 tops, adaptor, charger, stuff like that, a hat, belt, jewlery, like I got everything I needed and more into this bag with ease, I used packing cubes which helped but I love this bag

> 3 dayI was considering a much more expensive piece of backpack luggage. I chose this one because it was comparable in features and size at a fraction of the cost. This backpack has exceeded my expectations. I took it on 4 trips in the last 2 months, and it has performed very well. The 17 bag does not fit under an airplane seat but can be stored overhead. I use it with packing cubes, so its easy to load and unload. I dont like all the plastic hardware, but it has held up to a lot of abuse. On one occasion, this bag was overloaded. I used the outside side straps to tighten it down to a reasonable size. The shoulder straps are long, cushioned, and very comfortable, even when running through the airport fully loaded. I also got caught in a sudden downpour and the fabric repelled the rain. Everything inside remained dry. It can be hard to find anything, not in a cube. I only wish the interior fabric was a contrasting color. Otherwise a great travel bag.

> 3 dayCompletely happy with how well this suited my solo travel needs this past weekend. I packed 4 full outfits including briefs, socks, toiletries, large gaming laptop, accessories, and gifts for a friend. This thing has a TON of room, you just need to order some packing cubes and watch a video on rolling your clothes to save space. My backpack was heavy, but it held up no issue. I also used spirit to fly, didnt have to pay the baggage fees. Get one!
