I love playing frisbee. Who doesnt really? Anways this is a great frisbee because its: A) cheap I mean come on at ~8$ thats like the price of 2 coffees from starbucks and this frisbee will give you hours of enjoyment (and frustration if you get it stuck in a tree) B) Its a great weight. At 175 grams its the official Ultimate Frisbee weight which makes it perfect for those pickup games in the park. C) The one I got is glow in the dark which allows for endless enjoyment at any time of the day or night. I have been known to play frisbee at 1 AM in the morning much to the dismay of my neighbors who think I should be quiet while playing frisbee (as if thats in my control!) The one downside to this frisbee that I think only occurs in the glow in the dark one is that if you leave it in a hot car, it gets sort of melty. Not enough to affect game play but enough to make your worry about it a little bit everyday its really hot out. I had a frisbee by the same company that wasnt glow in the dark and it never had that issue so I think it may be the glow in the dark chemical that causes it. Overall though a great product that should be given to each child in grade school to try and curb the obesity epidemic.

Frisbee is very well made and has just the right amount of weight- makes for better frisbee throwing and catching experience.

Bought this for my teenage son who likes to play frisbee golf. He loves it and uses it frequently. Timely delivery and reasonable price.

I was born and raised in a beach town and the Frisbee was a big part of it all. I never even looked to see what else was on the market. The only other flying disks Ive ever thrown were the hard small golf disks or the free ones you get as a promotional item. Until two weeks ago. Then the Discraft Ultra Star was introduced to me at a picnic. At first I thought it was just about the same. Same size. Same weight. Same bendable plastic. Same feel on the grip. Same basic shape. But what it did differently surprised me. It didnt jump up and down vertically. If youve ever flown a Frisbee then youll know how it drops and lifts when it hits the breeze. Well the Discraft doesnt do that. Its all in the design, the Frisbee is more domed and therefore floats a bit more all the while being less stable in flight. I love the way the Ultra Star flies. It is a work of art. Ill never go back to the old standby. And its less expensive. I snagged up the red one. Looks great and its very easy to see. Highly recommended

Thanks! We always buy these! We lose them often, and they’re strong.

The world standard for the sport of Ultimate, and official disc of the USA Ultimate Championship Series since 1991. With its contoured grip and aerodynamic engineering, the Ultra-Star has set the standard for quality, consistency, and performance.

What is Ultimate?

Ultimate is a fast paced, non-contact field game that combines the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football.

A game is played by two seven-player squads on a field similar to football. The object of the game is to score by catching a pass in the opponent"s end zone. The disc may be advanced only by completing a pass to a teammate. A team may throw as many passes as they wish and possession is retained as long as the disc is in the air — although the thrower has only 10 seconds to release a pass. All turnovers result in an immediate change of possession and a change of direction of play.

Games are generally played to 15 points. Each point begins with a "pull" from end zone to end zone and teams switch ends after each score.
