This lock is amazing! I have a 3 year who is devilishly smart and found a way to open the door while the chain high above is in place while waiting for the this new lock to arrive. Our old lock from Lowe’s (only place near me I could find a latch lock) failed. The old one required me to remove the door handle to place the lock which caused all kinds of malfunctions with the physical door itself. It would either pop open or not open at all causing us to be locked inside. After maintenance had to replace the handle twice I knew I needed a better option. Best lock for this handle type I have purchased thus far. It’s super easy to apply and it works perfectly even though I put it on backwards by accident. When I stuck it to the door I even wiggled it around using significant force to check durability (my toddler can be a mini hulk at times), this device is rock solid! My peace of mind is restored while doing simple things like cooking or going to the bathroom knowing that even though I can check on him every few minutes (it only takes a second for them to run and open a door) this curious little boy can’t escape. It works so well he doesn’t even try anymore after having this for about 3 months now.

Definitely recommend this product. Especially if you have a toddler. It’s very easy to install. It’s hasn’t came off and we’re going on 5 months.

We have this on our door going down to the basement. My 6 year can adjust it but its still over my younger kids heads.. easy to install and works great

I was skeptical it would not hold. My son is strong and very persistent but the adhesive is great and does the job!

i have these on all of my doors and they have been great so far. we’ve had them for 2 years now since my daughter learned how to open our lever door knobs. you can move the top and/or the bottom lever to the side, whatever your preference to unlock it. i haven’t had to remove them yet so i’m not sure if they damage the door upon removal, but they’ve stuck to the doors for 2 years with no issues

Purchased this because my lab has learned to open doors. Applied the product to the entry door in my apartment and it works great. I no longer have to worry about her getting loose while I’m at work!

We have an Australian Shepherd who is too smart for her own good. She figured out how to open the lever style doorknobs in our house. The one door that was a big problem for us was the door to our garage. If we left the house for a time, she would go looking for us in the garage, leaving the door open to any critters and bugs that wanted to come in, and allowing her to go explore the neighborhood as we opened the garage door while pulling up to the house. We had been putting step stools or laundry drying racks in front of the door to block her from getting to the door handle, but this was annoying to have to remember and blocked the door when we got home. I placed one of these door locks on the outside handle of the garage. Now when we leave, we just activate the lock and she cannot escape. If we are working out in the yard or garage, we only activate the lower lock, because she hasnt yet figured out she can lift the handle to open the door, so this allows the door to still be used by people while keeping her inside. We are very happy with this product for this purpose.

I needed a way to keep my baby from opening the door with the handles and this solved all my problems! Works great at keeping little ones from pulling the door handles down. Highly recommend! Easy to install and use.

I have a cat that is smart enough to open our doors. I didn’t mind it much since I was leaving most doors open anyways, but with a baby on the way I wanted to keep the cats out of our bedroom and the nursery and she constantly opened the door to the garage which was really annoying. I was worried about how these would work because the levers on our doors go down on both sides when you open the door, so I thought we might not be able to use it on the garage or while we were in the bedroom, but we just leave the stopper under the handle out and the one above the handle open so that she can’t pull the lever down but we can pull it up to open the door.
