Had if for about a year now. Been through the airport luggage handlers at least 5 times, still holding up strong. One issue was the strap - that broke very quickly. Easy enough to buy a 3rd party strap thats a bit more durable. Shouldnt have to, but you cant win them all.

I recently took the Duffelsak on a 4 day kayak camping trip. All of my supplies--tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, clothes, cooking gear, snacks, toiletries, spare shoes--were stored in the Duffelsak and secured with straps on back of a Diablo Amigo sit-on-top kayak. The bag worked flawlessly through numerous full submersions. All in all Id say the bag was fully submerged ~10 times and partially submerged ~12 times with zero leakage. Ive done the same trip before with Sealline bags and they leaked. I especially like the accessibility of the bag. Ive done the same kayak trip multiple times with 3-4 smaller (20L) Sealline bags and much prefer the horizontal access provided by the duffel. The duffel makes it super easy to access all of your gear at once rather than having to unload an entire smaller bag to get to the gear at the bottom. Plus the compression straps on the Duffelsak allow you to pack minimize the profile of the bag to take up less space. I cannot speak to durability, as Ive only taken the bag on one trip. I will update this review after extended use. The only improvements I would suggest are to remove the clear ID card slot. It didnt cause any problems but I feel like it is the weak point in the bag as far as possible leaks go. If you really need to put an ID card on it Id prefer to remove the clear built in slot and just tie/clip on a separate ID card pouch. Id also look into adding an air release valve so you can remove air trapped in the bag while compressing it. I make these recommendations with the provisio that these are simply suggestions and not actual problems with the bag. If youre looking for a waterproof gear bag for camping, hiking, traveling, etc. Id highly recommend Sak Gear. You cant beat the quality at this price point.

I havent put the product to use yet but I do a bunch of rafting trips in Alaska. And have used a bunch of different bags and will say these appear to be built every bit as good. Or better than many of the more expensive brands.

The bag has 4 small zipped pockets two internal, one on either side of the exterior. It’s roomy enough for my coldwater swim gear and seems durable. Other openwater swimmers were interested in getting one too as it’s waterproof.

Bought this bag to to set in the passenger seat of my goldwing and keep my clothes, sleeping bag and pillow dry . I just returned from a 4 day 1600 mile camping trip and the bag held up great. Didn’t have a lot of rain while on the road. But enough to know it works. I also left it outside my single man tent and we had some pretty hard due that didn’t seep in. While it was only a 4 day trip I deliberately packed it as if I was going for a 2 week trip, just to make sure it would hold everything and still strap down well in the passenger seat. It had met my expectations. Quality build.

I bought the 60L bag to hold my regular camera bag during some canoeing. I thought that the 40L bag looked a little small. The camera bag (ThinkTank Airline Commuter) just meets airline carry-on size, and fits perfectly. Now, I will have quick access to my camera gear without having to take the camera bag out of the waterproof bag. I have no doubt it will protect my gear from splashes. I hope never to test submersion, but Ill update this review with the results if I do.

I am a Swift Water rescue tech for my FireDept. After a lot of research I decided to purchase these dry bags for our response team to keep on our rafts and jet boat. They are very roomy, durable and waaaay cheaper than the big name brand bags. They will definetly keep your gear safe and dry on the water.

Item was as described, well packaged, fast shipping. The size did not work for me, so I returned for a prompt refund.

Purchased this product for weekend trips where we need to pack gear in a water resistant bag during all seasons. Works excellent in cold weather and warm weather.

This bag is exactly what I was looking for at the time of purchase. I used it for a motorcycle trip from FL to AZ to VA to FL. Also used it for a trip through MS, TN, AL, LA, and FL. Rode through a lot of rain (some of it heavy rain). All of the contents stayed bone dry. The size was perfect to fit a cheap tent (needed the width).
