Greater than one weekBought this for a week long fishing trip to Alaska. Kept all rain and splashes out. This was exactly what I needed. I recommend this item without reservation.

> 3 dayHigh quality bag that has taken abuse on my kayak camping trips and motorcycle adventures. Zippers allow in a tiny bit of water if caught in heavy rain on the motorcycle, but certainly not enough to worry about... just a little damp where the zipper tab is. Customer service was AWESOME too! When I first ordered I received a bag that was missing two of the tiedown points at the handles. I contacted them and got a replacement shipped to me right away! Ive been very happy with the product & service!

> 3 dayThe 40 liter version of this bag is perfect for riding on the back seat of my Suzuki SV 650. It makes an affordable, waterproof solution for motorcycle luggage. The roll down top is a great, secure design, but it doesnt encroach on the space within the bag. Theres still a good amount of room within the bag even after rolling the top down a few times. I only have one slight complaint. There are two (very) small pockets accessible from the outside of the bag, but you cant put much in them. I wish it had a larger external pocket that wasnt waterproof. Sometimes I want to carry something that I dont care about keeping dry (or Im using the bag when its not raining) and Id like to keep it easily accessible. If its anything larger than a small cell phone, you need to put it in the main, internal pocket. And while the roll top closure is great for rain, it takes a little longer to access something. But at this price point, Im not too picky about that lack of a large external pocket.

> 3 dayThe picture doesnt really show how this bag works in reality. It suggests rolling the top 3 times then clipping the straps on the sides and over the top for good rain protection. Be aware that there is no seal for this bag, no zipper, no magnetic clamp--- it is wholly depended on rolling the top then using 4 clips (2 on the ends, 2 on top) to hold the top opening in a rolled position. The top has two strips of metal embedded in the seam that are semi-stiff and come together (though not in a seal) to allow for rolling the top. this also means that if you dont have a full load in the bag, there is really no way to ensure there really is a good-enough seal by rolling the top several times. I wouldnt allow this bag to submerge or let it into the open water and expect the contents to stay dry, though for every day rain or even downpour I think itll be fine. I may be wrong about this, but once the top has been rolled 3 times, I question that there is actually 40L volume inside.

> 3 dayI used recently on a 3 day kayak/camping trip. Plenty big enough for everything in one bag. Bag is really heavy duty material with no wear issues.

> 3 dayGreat bag, we use it as our first aid kit for raft trips. Bigger than I thought itd be, and its more effective if its more full than less full.

> 3 dayOriginally I had just submitted a quick 2 word review that it was a great value but now I want to add that this item is really well designed. I love when an item has clearly been thought through for ease of functionality. I will be purchasing more as gifts. Thank you for a great product. update, I did purchase one for a friend and last week, my husband ask if I would buy one for him. I stand by my previous comments

> 3 dayI dont review products often. This bag has exceeded all expectations, and is still 100% after 5 years of abuse. I work, play, and travel in marine environments. Minimal wear and tear and I dont baby it. Overall size, quality, and design are top-notch. I frequently get compliments and always recommend it. Bravo Sak Gear!

> 3 daystrong enough to hold heavier items such as spare parts, anchor w/chain and rode, life jackets, light, repair kit , clothing and lunch etc. water proof to keep everything dry in bow w/ constant spray. handles strong enough to toss around and use as tie downs. Looks good!
