Bought this bag for a 500 mile motorcycle trip. 150 miles of the trip it absolutely poured on us. I can confirm that the main compartment stays dry even under 70 mph driving rain for over 3 hours. BUT the two small outside pockets that supposedly have waterproof zippers ... were completely useless ... the pockets were full of water when I got to our destination, ruining a portable battery pack I had stuffed in there. The pockets are small and really not overly useful anyway. Another small issue are the buckles used to help seal the bag, only really worked well (after you roll the top) if the bag is full. Because they mounted the clips so high, a partially filled bag will be harder to seal. Its a well made bag, but the integrity of its waterproofness is determined by the material its made of (a medium weight vinyl type) so I would be careful how rough you are with it. Overall It worked well for me. For the reasons above I deducted a star

It looks to be a solid bag. The material is a bit thinner than I expected but it should work well for my needs.

So far so good. Only one problem. One of the ratchet straps does not hold tight, but the rest are good. It definitely holds a lot.

This soft bag is just what I was looking for to carry on my motorcycle trips. The D rings make it very easy to secure to the motorcycle, and the materials are high quality and not too thick. I expect this duffel to last a very long time. It hasnt been through rain yet, but I dont see any way for water to penetrate to the inside. Great product at a very reasonable price. I will be using this duffel bag on a 30 mile hike in 2 weeks and it looks super sturdy with space and the material is great. I am looking forward to testing it out in the outdoors. For now, I am super happy with it and cant wait to try it

Purchased this product for weekend trips where we need to pack gear in a water resistant bag during all seasons. Works excellent in cold weather and warm weather.

These feel great and seem high quality! Good straps and comfortable to carry. We have used them a few times for winter camping but havent capsized on a river trip since we got them so they havent really been put to the real test, but from all appearances they will be great! After a bit of use dont smell terribly like chemicals like some flexible rubberized products.

I was looking for a waterproof duffel bag that I could throw into my truck bed. Even thought I have a tonneau cover, in a heavy rain or at the car wash water gets into the truck bed, so naturally I wanted something that I would throw in my truck bed and not be concerned about the contents getting wet. So far this does the job. I havent left it outside in a downpour, but based on the quality and strength of the bag I would feel pretty confident if it were left outside in a downpour, and I would also feel confident using it as a waterproof luggage bag on a boating trip as well. I was a little concerned how this bag would pack since its designed to be rolled from the top down to make it waterproof, but it actually packs very well and its easy to access the items in the bag. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, its a solid, well built bag, straps, handles, stitching are all high quality in my opinion.

I just completed racing in the 50th TRANSPAC yacht race, a yacht race from Los Angles to Honolulu Hawaii on a 40 foot sailboat. The ride was extremely wet and we had a lot of water down in the boat. The bag was constantly sitting in water for 9 days. Not one item got wet. Accessing the contents of the bag was easy with the full length roll down enclosure and the closing it was a breeze. The locking clips kept the enclosure from coming unrolling thus keeping all my stuff dry. The 40L size was perfect for all of my gear. I had planned and stored enough clothing and gear for 12 days and still had extra space for additional gear. All of the straps and weld seams were sturdy. This will be my go to waterproof bag for all of my future offshore races and outdoor adventures.
