I have enough Amazon packages that get delivered and left on our front doorstep and have always left our car doors unlocked. Our town has unfortunately had an increase in theft, so it was time to bite the bullet and get a couple webcams just in case. I selected this camera based on the ratings and price; I have to say Im very impressed. The image quality is very good, installation and connection to our WiFi was super easy. I like the fact that I can stay with a very usable free cloud security option and upgrade later if I need to. I do wish it had the ability to monitor the video stream from a website, but Im able to get notifications of activity on my phone. Happy with the purchase so far and hoping it does well in sub-zero temperatures this winter. UPDATE: As far as the camera goes, still happy with the quality at this price. Were hitting single digits at night and the camera is holding up very well. The app needs work, though. It does okay with alerts, but if you try to view the cameras live, I rarely get it to connect. If I do get it to connect, it always fails when switching to fullscreen mode. Happens with the Dzees doorbell and camera; both have very strong WiFi signal, but I usually receive a live stream timeout error and have to try several times to reconnect.

Best camera for its budget, I dont like to leave reviews but after trying more than 5 cameras this is the best one by far. I think I got it on sale and it was about $50, the 2 way audio is really good. And the picture quality is good also. The battery life is amazing, I received it not fully charged and its still got half a full battery and that was about a month ago. My 1 complaint is the is since its wireless the app crashes sometimes but I think its my phone, I dont have the best phone. But this camera is definitely worth the price.

Installing and setting up this camera was easier and faster than any of the others Ive installed over the years. Picture quality is good. I was not sure about battery life but it really does seem to be excellent! Cant go wrong with this. My only wish is that it could be viewed on desktop PC. Currently can only view with a phone. Would be nice to be able to add it to other, different, cameras in a viewer on a PC. With luck this capability might come in time. Im just about to order another one.

Night vision is better than ring and white light is cool. But thats where the positive differences stop. Bought 2 of these on sale and set them up, setup was easy, accept one of two fails its updates even with a strong wifi connection. These dont use optical motion detect like a ring, they use short range detection similar to a flood light, so you have to be very close. My camera that failed its updates wont detect movement further than 5 feet, my other camera requires you to be directly under it and its installed at about 15 feet from the ground. Cool concept but terrible execution. The pan and tilt function is fine but you cannot make fine adjustments, one click will slew almost 15°-20°. Support is terrible, you say one thing and they respond about something completely unrelated. English is NOT their first language. The language barrier makes it impossible to get to the root of the problem.

Easy install of hardware and easy to use software on phone. Great overall product. I purchased 2.

I have had other security cameras , but these have the best quality out of all of them , simple to set up easy to use and install , definite recommend these to everyone I know , you do have to charge them here and there but mine last up to 6 months with out a charge

Ive used the camera for about 2 months. Things Ive liked; pan and tilt, battery life, ease of setting up. Things that can be improved; zoom, lag between motion detection time and video recording. I bought the camera without the solar panel as it is mounted under a tree and panel would not be much help. I set the camera to motion detection and basically left it alone. It took less than 15 minutes to hang camera. Software was quick to download and intuitive to use. Under a full charge battery it took 5 weeks to drop from 100% to 37%. It took about 6 hours to recharge back to 100%. This was with about one camera check daily. Camera has full 360 pan and tilt works great. I was able to control the camera remotely (from 500 miles away). Zoom is strictly optical and is difficult to use when camera is in use. Picture quality is fine. I have very few false motion alerts. However, when motion detection is activated the online recording has a lag of over a second, this sometimes causes the recording to miss a quick pass through or just catch a quick glimpse. I would buy this again. I am very satisfied with the camera.

For the price, its a great camera. Would be nice if it would follow object after motion detection and if you could set it to always be on.

I bought this camera two weeks ago to view my backyard when I’m not home, and it’s excellent: the picture is very clear and the camera and app have several useful features, including camera rotation (operated by the app) that enables viewing of a large area, zoom. and motion notification. I’m using it with a Micro SD card that enables me to view prior activity without paying anything additional for a plan,, but the cost of the plan is modest and the plan unlocks features that some people would find valuable.
