Easy to install. Connected it myself to the panel. Got a Eaton 50amp breaker with trip indicator from homedepot 17.48$ and installed right after the main breaker. Took me about 15 minutes. Left it in breaker box. Fingers crossed that I never need it.

Installs easily , hope I wont need it but its there in case of a surge .

This is one of the better panel mounted whole house surge suppressor out there. Great price and arrived in perfect condition.

Lights are green after the install indicating it is working. Please get this if you have a 220 volt oven with computer circuit boards in it. First blow will cost 6x what this device cost installed. Repair man said we were lucky to get 10 years (before a surge fried the oven).

Although I mounted this product on the top of the breaker panel for the best performance, I will still use point of use plug in surge suppressors on my most sensitive and most expensive equipment. This product should take care of any large surges and the point of use plug-ins will handle anything that leaks through.

Its kind of hard to know how to review this. It is attached and active. Its really hard to evaluate the protection it provides, but this seemed like a good price.

Electrician install in our new panel box, and this model has lights and performs as expected. Easy to install, and he showed me how to replace it if necessary. We have a lot of storms in Florida, and surges. This one seems to work fine

The check lights are ON. But there is no other way to check if it works until the electric disturbance comes. But how do we know if it comes? The only way to find out is if the check lite shows the need to replace the unit. I do trust Eaton. This is all I can do. I would like to trust Siemens too -but their price is preposterous.
