This whole home surge protector is working good so far for a few months. Note: You will need electrical knowlege to install this device. There are a few items you will need to install this. Depending where you install it you may need extra wire because the lengths are a little short. If install externally for you panel piece of conduit and fittings. The most important one if you want the full potential of protection you have to purchase a 50amp breaker.

DIY if comfortable working on breaker panel. Need to have 2 open spots to use and make sure you get proper amped breaker switch. I mounted outside panel to see the lights, so requires panel work!!

Easy install, fits in my breaker box. Lets hope it works when needed.

Hopefully It will stop the electric demon from possessing my electronics and letting the Gremlins infest my house. So far good. I will let you know when I take a direct lightning strike.

The concept is this surge protector will protect all appliances in the house - washer, dryer, TVs, computers, etc. It was installed by a licensed electrician. You just have to check inside your breaker box occasionally to ensure it hasnt tripped because once it does, it needs to be replaced.

As others have mentioned, the tails on the unit are a bit short, but otherwise easy to install, and hopefully never needs to get used.

Installed easily. Wont know how well it protects til we get a surge.

I had two units fail, installed on main panel that fried to a burned crisp, and now a second unit failed on a secondary panel. this one the light went out. After two failures I cant recommend.

Best in its class, but wish it had a higher rating.
