ELEGOO 3D Printer Resin LCD UV-Curing Resin 405nm Standard Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing Grey 1000g

I have used 33 bottles of original translucent resin in multiple machines, with a cure time of 2.6 sec per layer. Well imagine my surprise when my most recent bottles come and the resin is super thick like molasses, tinted blue, and Ive had failure after failure. After going through an entire bottle and two weeks of frustration including replacing a printer, I find out from digging around the formula is changed and the cure time is recommended at 6 seconds. No, that doesnt work either-it leaves you with a rubbery blob on the bottom of the vat. 7 seconds, nope. Now Im burning my screens out. 8 seconds, no, 9 seconds, no, 10 seconds-it cures but its still rubbery, 11 seconds-somewhat solid but now the pieces are blended together at the base due to total overexposure and Im done! Theyve ruined this resin, and Ive had to start all over trying to find an entire new resin to work with. Why Elegoo, why??? Because of a little yellowing? Ridiculous! Ive now returned four bottles of it and completely wasted my time, money and its really affected my business.

Elgoo resign is the cheapest and best resign to use even has instructions on the bottle how to use. I use it for longer 3d printer as well as my elegoo mars

No matter what I did I could not get this resin to work out. I made sure everything was perfectly cleaned, leveled, and set to the right specs but still no luck. I tried other resins to make sure it wasnt something I was doing wrong or something wrong with the machine but everything else worked out great. But anytime I go to use this particular bottle I get terrible results

I ordered many times those resin bottles. My last order of 4 bottles came and the caps were broken and lost around 50% of the resin in the mess after filtering what was left in the bags in old empty bottles i kept. After i contacted Elegoo, they replaced 2 bottles for free. Ive ordered those many times, and it only happened on that shipment. Ive experienced another broken cap, this time it happened as i was shaking the bottle before a print and i noticed because i got splashed. Just be careful. I now always put a paper towel on top of the caps every time i shake them. Otherwise, it is a very good resin (albeit a tad bit smelly), and never experienced a failed print due to it.

Prints perfectly clear. It is very hard a d brittle so be careful removing your print from the bed.

Not a fan of this resin. Resin is soft. Scratches easily and surface turns white where scratched. Adhesion was excellent but the white scratch marks are a deal breaker for me.

If you are in the miniature wargaming hobby, this UV resin can last for many prints. I recommend you tweak the color saturation in Chitubox in the anti aliasing section and the time exposure depending what printer you have. The monochrome screen printers use a lower exposure time and not the one they recommend as the indications printed in the bottle. Keep testing until you get good results. I use this resin in the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro with great results.

With the transparent resin, it isnt super clear with a noticeable yellow tint. I love how its not viscous at all, almost like water. It allows for easy use. Now with the 1000g white v1 it is insanely viscous. Almost like glue. Very annoying to mix with pigments. Otherwise high quality.

This resin prints really well. I was about to get some wild detail with some miniatures for a d&d game, as well as some nice upgrades for my fdm printer. While it prints nice detail, just know that it is brittle, there is little to no flex with it. As for smell, I think I was allergic to it like a candle or perfume scent. It gave me a headache, while my wife could barely smell it. Cant wait to try the rest of elegoos resin line.
