Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I purchased Elgato Stream Deck XL - Advanced Stream Control with 32 Customizable LCD Keys for my intraday trading, its just awesome, technically its something beyond that.

I am mainly using the stream deck for video editing while trying to learn Da Vinci Resolve 18 with the added bonus of using home assistant to be able to run home automations and set up scenes. It works as intended and can get as deep as your imagination will let it! I use it for events that I host for seamless presentation control while also being able to monitor my home conditions and accessory states. I am even able to use the hub in my monitor so I can save space on my computer! Really happy with the product.

To be honest not much was wrong here. Only issue I ever had with it was it would disconnect from my pc here and there, I would have to unplug it and replug it back in and restart the software. Other than they its worked pretty good for me.

I got this to automate OBS and quickly realized I could automate workflow for my Zoom meetings, music production software and photoshop as well. I plan to automate other common key sequences too as saving keystrokes gives a little bit of relief for my arthritis. With music, I can now set up a recording session for voice and guitar and trigger the tracking away from my without switching back and forth from instrument to computer. Its great in that I can concentrate on the performance. I only wish the cable were slightly longer, or detachable.

If you are having second-guesses or doubts on whether to buy this - dont second guess any further.

the stand on the bottom is a big annoying because you can’t put it in many places that you’d like but the actual deck is great!

¡Sí, es caro! A primera vista, muy caro! Pero, quita eso del camino. Increíblemente útil. Esta es una de esas cosas que una vez que la usas te preguntas, ¿cómo has podido vivir sin ella? Y me ha dado un nuevo pasatiempo. ¡Ya pasé horas programando las teclas para hacer mucho más que solo teclear y amando cada minuto! así, útil y con un coste de entretenimiento de euros/hora tan bajo, significa que se paga solo.

I wish I could mute my mic within the multimedia section of the options but overall it is a great system.

Im not using this device for any of the Live Content Creation capabilities. Using it to store program, file, folder and website shortcuts; as well as programmed hotkeys for productivity software and games. Ive found the customizable icons to be the best and most powerful feature. Having a colored graphical icon is so much quicker and easier to identify than plain text. I have not had any of the software crashes that Ive seen some reviewers report, and there have been a couple of firmware updates pushed to it in the last couple of months.
