> 3 dayThe wire clips are a good idea but poorly made. Go with the Sonoff brand.

> 3 dayIt does have 2.4 or 5Gz. Works but sporadically even with a wifi repeater within 40 feet. This unit has very poor reception as compared to other Wyze wifi plugins.

> 3 dayTwo of the four units failed after a firmware update on the night of install, but the seller/manufacturer immediately shipped two replacement units as well as corrected the problem at the Firmware writers end to ensure that the problem would not be repeated. Great product and fantastic support. My advice for anyone else, do not do a final install until they are set up in your wifi network and updated just to be sure, having to swap out two units that were installed in ceilings was a bit of a pain, but not worth loss of a star when the workaround is simple.

> 3 dayWorks flawlessly! Installed in the metal breaker box to turn my pool light on/off with Alexa. No issues connecting to WiFi and uses the Smart Life app I use for numerous other devices around the house. Recommended!

> 3 dayI bought 6 of these and they will not pair through auto scan and they are not listed in the smart life app for manual pairing. I have not been able to find any kind of technical support for these. Most of my network consist of Meross devices that work flawlessly. These were a waste of time and money for me. I have other devices on my network that run on 2.4 gigahertz so I dont understand the issue. Too bad Im outside the return window.

> 3 dayUsed the switches to control lamp fixtures that I built to provide indirect ambient lighting that combined with other sensors could follow my movement around the house at night. Worked quite well for my purpose although wish I could have found similar switches that would switch a larger load than 10 amps.

> 3 dayI used this to control a 2 speed 2 HP pool pump in conjunction with a 30A relay (https://www.amazon.com/Tnisesm-Mounting-Connect-Terminals-NT90-AC120V-10X/dp/B087G6D24G?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1) This switch was placed in a thick plastic junction box outdoors 100 ft from the access point. I made sure my android phone was on the 2.4 GHz wireless network when I brought up the SmartLife app. It found the device immediately and added it to my home WiFi network. The outputs from the WiFi switch drives the relay that turns the pump from low speed to high speed. I added the device to Google Home and now can voice control and schedule when the high speed on the pump (for cleaning the pool) runs and for how long.

Greater than one weekI love this switch! I bought a second unit because the first one worked great and allowed me to control devices in another room. I have one connected to an exhaust fan and the other to a dehumidifier. I can now control each from my Android phone. With the addition of a camera, I can easily see and control the conditions without having to run into the room. Correct placement of the switch and I can bypass automatic temperature and humidity controls in an emergency. The clips for the wires were a little confusing and i didnt use them on the first switch. I thought they were garbage because they didnt hold the wire tight. When the second switch arrived, my nephew showed me that I was not opening the clips all the way. From that point it took us under a minute to strip wires and connect to my phone. That simple. Setting up schedules are a little grueling and the app definitely could be better. But it works and with time and creativity you can accomplish most anything. (48 entries for an action every half hour).
