I love having the larger size and not having to buy it all the time. It sits under my bathroom cabinet and works perfectly.

I have a large garden tub requiring more then 2 cups of salt per bath. I was concerned about purchasing a 20 lb bag, but now that I have it I can see I picked the right one. I am no expert on Epsom salts. I shopped around and found this to be a fair price. Purchasing it in the drug store or else where is terribly expensive comparatively speaking. This is the way to go. As I said Im no expert, but I do think this to be a quality salt because it does the job I want it to do, and the medium grain dissolves immediately. One swish of the water and dissolved. It leaves no residue. It is relaxing, but I mostly started to bath in Epsom salt because I have acne on my shoulders, and at my age it is just crazy that I should still be having acne problems. I started thinking I need to hit the beach, one day in the ocean fixes me right up for a long time, and then I thought, hey, Epsom salt. So Im trying it. Its no cure in a day, but it does seem to be working nicely, clearing up my acne and not drying my skin out. Im pleased. The salt comes in a very heavy duty zip lock bag so no worries about storage. So theres the review from the novice Epsom bather.

Im a hugeee fan of Epsom Salt for recovering from really hard workouts. I train really intensely with weights, 5 days per week, and doing that consistently day after day really takes a toll on your body: aches, indefinite soreness, etc. I noticed last year (after a suggestion from a friend) that soaking in an Epsom salt bath REALLY helps me recover from workouts. If I lay down in an Epsom salt bath for 20 minutes or so, my muscle soreness is dramatically less, and Ill actually feel a lot better the next day. Its been tremendously helpful in pushing past barriers. For the last few months, Ive been taking Epsom salt baths about twice per week. So, when I totaled up how much money I was spending, I was a bit shocked. Buying a 1lb bag of Epsom salts from Target is actually super expensive. 5 or 6 dollars usually. Thats when I found this stuff: way cheaper, huge bag, will last me a while. Ive been using it and completely love it. Same great results as always, but way less cost. The only thing I will mention is this: these salts are NOT scented, so if youre looking for the more luxurious ones, you might want to consider a different type.

This package got lost in transit and Altho very expensive it was worth it

Very happy with the quantity of this package and Amazons super fast delivery. However, this stuff is hard as a rock. I began running my bath water and cut open the bag and had my cup ready to measure out two cups thinking I could just pour it out of the bag. Oh my goodness, this stuff was a solid piece of rock hard epsom salt! Ran into the kitchen in search of an ice pick. Couldnt find one so I grabbed some scissors and proceeded to stab into the stuff to try to break off a chunk. I got a large piece loose that looked to be about the size of a cup and chucked it into my bath. On a positive note, it dissolved quickly. At least I know now that I will have to plan ahead and break a chunk off of the boulder before the bath has filled with water. I am unable to give it five stars because unless you have a chisel handy you may not be able to use this product. UPDATE: I was contacted by the San Francisco Salt Company and I have to commend them on their fabulous customer service. This is a company that values its customers. I see no reason to ever buy epsom salts from anywhere else. You now have a loyal customer and I would definitely recommend to friends and family! Thanks much!

Works equally as well as the name brands but for a lot less money. Has a neutral scent, so should be okay for people that are scent sensitive. With it being a 19 lb bag, it should last a few months.

We use it to take relaxing bath and as a plant food. Clean, no smell. Perfect.
