My gyno recommended I use bath salt with 0 scents or coloring. This product is 100% epsom salt and fine enough to dissolve pretty well. I use 2 cups in a full bath twice a week for 20 minutes. I notice a marked difference in my pain. I’ve been able to lower my prescription pain med if I keep up on the baths. I first realized how much they were helping when I showered instead of bathing for a couple weeks and had to figure out why my pain was worse. I notice it most in helping my hip pain pressure when sleeping on my sides.

Awesome product. Huge quantity for such a great price. ((Though Costco has Dr. Teals I think for a lower price-quantity ratio)) Kinda awesome idea of this stuff. Id never really heard of detox baths growing up, but now, what with my own kids and one going to preschool for the first time Ive been looking into supporting and strengthening their immune systems naturally. Used it a couple times for them without really noticing a difference, maybe sleeping better? But anyhow my son, 2years old, had a fever of 102 and I gave him a bath before bed with some lavender essential oil and his fever was gone, and by the next day he was fine. I took one with some added coconut oil, and baking soda and man I could tell I was detoxing after. Slight headache and muscle aches. These are good things in that it was working and detoxing my body, but Ill take more precautions next time like drinking more water/tea, before and after, etc. Ive also thrown a handful or two into the soil with my tomato plants and man they grew like weeds. Practically pruning every day!! Id also like to point out that instead of a harsh bleach bath that Drs recommend for eczema, Epsom salts with baking soda and coconut oil is worth considering. Its soothing and really hydrates the skin. Can follow with either raw Shea butter, Vaseline, or Aquaphor.

Ive been using this bulk salt for years after my previous company stopped free shipping and this doesnt disappoint. Its just shy of 20 lbs for a good low price and ships for free through Amazon. Its a really great way to ease an aching body and also feels like a real treat yourself opportunity in a nightly bath. Ive been epsom salt bathing for literally like 15 years and will always incorporate it into my weekly bath routine. This bag is clean, clear, no funky scents or additives- just epsom- which feels health to me. Highly recommend from a long time fan!

Whats not to like? Its a big ol bag of epsom salt at a great price. Go buy some eucalyptus or lavender oil and put a few drops in the tub with two cups of these salts and you have yourself a little spa treatment. Manly right? I do actually use these 1-2 times a week. I exercise pretty hard and am regularly sore. I try to make time to get a 20-30 minute epsom salt soak in a couple times a week. Ill even put the laptop near (but not too near) the tub and watch an episode of something so I dont get sleepy and accidentally become a weird statistic. I also used these quite regularly after some whiplash left my neck sore for a few weeks. Just wish a had a bigger tub because I end up having to rotate between soaking my legs and soaking my upper body. If you do the research, the science isnt exactly in favor of epsom salts really doing much but theres still a long tradition of people using them for sore muscles, blood circulation, stress reduction, removing toxins, constipation, etc. Im betting on one of those claims having a little legitimacy and with the price of this dog food sized bag of salt, its a cheap bet that Ill continue to make.

I purchased these high quality Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate crystals) after reading The Magnesium Miracle by Carolyn Dean, which I did because I read somewhere that magnesium would help arthritis pain. I started hobbling around about 6 months ago with sudden onset arthritis in my hip, and I was looking for a non-drug alternative. I feel sure that I have been magnesium-deficient all these years. I have been taking a couple of different types of oral magnesium now for the past month, and now am also taking several Epsom salts baths per week. They say not to soak for 2 hours, but I really can only take about 12 minutes, and then Im bored in the bath. Im afraid to read my Kindle in there, because I would get it wet. I also put in a generous squirt of my Dial shower gel to make the bath foamy and to soak me clean. I really feel that the arthritis pain is lessened by the the very-warm magnesium soaks, and I go to bed right after the bath. I have also started taking Melatonin to get immediately to sleep. These Epsom salts are bright white, come in a re-sealable heavy plastic bag, and mostly dissolve in the water. I put in 2 cups of Epsom salts when I start running the bath water. The bag is almost 20 pounds, so it will last a nice amount of time, but its not too heavy for me to carry from the doorway where its delivered to the bathroom. (Im in my mid-60s.) I have never really been a bath person, but these Epsom salts are really changing me. I just lay back and relax, checking the clock on the wall occasionally. Then I rinse off with a plastic container as I rinse out the tub. I tend to have dry skin, but after the magnesium bath, I dont need to use any body lotion. I take my regular showers on the in-between days. Highly recommend!
