These are necessary to put a finishing touch on many do it yourself projects. I sometimes craft and refinish furniture and always do my final clean with a tack cloth after sanding to get a smooth finish for the stain or sealer. Tried one and it performed as expected on par with other brands I have puexhsed.s Contains one dozen cotton cloths. You would be able to cut these smaller to suit your needs. A good value over similar cloths at the home improvement stores.

I find these to be just the right amount of tack/stickiness. Some brands have too much tack and are hard to unfold because it all sticks together, and then leave residue on whatever I wipe. Some other brands have too little tack and dont last very long or dont even pick up all the dust on the first use. These seem to be in the middle. Good amount to tack to pick up dust, but not so much that they leave residue behind on what I wipe. Plus each tack cloth is individually wrapped, which is nice, and they all come in a nice box.

We used a couple of these tack cloths for prepping the walls in my daughters house. THey just moved in and the former owners had 4 cats and 2 dogs and there was hair EVERYWHERE. We vacuumed and dusted and scrubbed and vacuumed again and we were still finding hair on the walls. We wiped them down with these and probably captured 99.9% of the hair. They work amazing and are long lasting. We cleaned 10 rooms and hallways with only 4 clothes (we each had one). The painting went without a hairy hitch. I will use these anytime I have to paint walls in the future.

I’ve done several woodworking projects over the years and used lots of different tack cloths and this is the best I’ve found. Tacky enough to capture fine sawdust but not so sticky it’s hard to work with, and it even smells nice. I bought a box of 12; hope it stores well because I won’t use them all for this job.

I use this when I am varnishing my boat. This tack cloth is sticky and removes the saw dusk particles between coats. Nothing really works as well.

These do a good job with prep work. Gets all the excess lint of right before paint. Good to have around the garage.

These are normal tack cloths. Cheese cloth with a sticky surface to pick up dust. I use them after sanding, just before applying a clear finish. Doing so gives me a vastly superior finish over skipping this step. They are tacky enough to do their job without dragging on the wood surface. Use a light touch to avoid leaving a residue of the sticky coating on your work piece. It will get on your fingers if you dont use exam gloves. Refold them to expose a fresh surface when they start loosing their stickiness. This is the way all good tack cloths Ive ever used work. The difference with these is the price is half to a third of what Im used to for this quality. Good stuff.

These work excellent to remove all dust prior to staining wood. Very happy with the effectiveness and they also are individually wrapped.

Tack cloths like these are really useful for prepping a surface for paint, stain, or other finishes, by removing residual dust first. I like how these come with a large number of individual cloths, and that they are each individually wrapped. They are a good size and will come in handy. The material is like a sticky cheesecloth type fabric. I will add a photo here so you can see the material. I like it.

I misunderstood this product. I read 100% Cotton and wax and silicone free. So I used one to wipe a musical instrument of dust and debris. MY BAD! The cloth is abrasive and sticky (as it should be). My own ignorance caused significant damage to the instrument. Again, the product is great. The user, however, not so bright. Please know that this cloth is ABRASIVE AND STICKY.. Dont use it on any finished surface :)
