Works well. I used this to clean a window sill that I had just used sand paper on. It removed all of the wood dust.

I don’t do a lot of woodworking these days, but every now and then I have a project. Whenever I want to stain something, I generally wipe it down with a rag beforehand. With some surfaces, it’s really important to remove all trace of sawdust or dust particles. I thought I’d give these tack cloths a try to see how well they work. The tackiness in a tack cloth comes from an infusion of “hydrocarbon resin and plasticizer.” This does give it that tacky feel I got when I used these gauze cloths. The stickiness wiped away any trace of dust that might have been lingering on the surface of my wooden desk. There was no residue left behind nor any stickiness. The quality of these so-called superior tack cloths is quite good, excellent actually. I’ll be putting this box in my workshop for when I do have a project to work on. Each cloth is individually wrapped, which I find very convenient. The cloths are quite large and are perfect for my needs. Comparatively, the price is very good at around $12.99 a dozen ($1.08 per cloth). Locally, each cloth is costing around $3 each.

I do woodworking and these tack cloths do a great job of picking up the dust after sanding. Before staining and/or applying a final poly or oil finish elimination of dust is extremely important to the final product. These tack cloths serve that purpose very well.

These are individually wrapped, keeping each cloth clean and lint free until you are ready to use it. There is nothing worse than picking up and using what you think is a clean cloth, only to have it start spreading dirt that you hadnt noticed, and these completely avoid that problem. Beyond that, these are pretty much like every other tack cloth. They pick up and hold onto dust well, and are perfect for cleaning up a work piece that you have sanded before painting. I am happy with the job that these do.

I do a lot of painting with a spray gun and used these while redoing a trailer. Worked excellent! Just let them air dry for about 10-15mins and they work like a champ. Would easily get these again.

These are normal tack cloths. Cheese cloth with a sticky surface to pick up dust. I use them after sanding, just before applying a clear finish. Doing so gives me a vastly superior finish over skipping this step. They are tacky enough to do their job without dragging on the wood surface. Use a light touch to avoid leaving a residue of the sticky coating on your work piece. It will get on your fingers if you dont use exam gloves. Refold them to expose a fresh surface when they start loosing their stickiness. This is the way all good tack cloths Ive ever used work. The difference with these is the price is half to a third of what Im used to for this quality. Good stuff.

Better than the ones I bought at the big box stores, individually packaged and sticky. I do multiple painting and lacquer projects and when used recently, worked well. Fairly big, lots of tack
