Overpowered, perhaps but solved many issues overclocking. Happy PC!

Easy to install, pretty quiet when on

I own 3 of these in different power ratings (650, 750, 1000) and all of them work great. they run quite under load!

EVGA has always been reliable for me so I chose this to power my new mid-end PC. It’s been doing great so far though I’ve only had it going for about 3 months.

Setup and running for a few days so far. Everything is as expected except for the Failure Detection plug which allow the power supply to be used without a motherboard. Im using this as a external power supply and this plug is part of what sold me on this specific model. The Failure Detection plug shown on the third picture down on the bottom left is not what ships with the power supply. The included plug must connect to the MB cable not the actual power supply which I would have preferred. So now I have a bulky MB cable hanging off the power supply that I dont need. The plug does the job just not as cleanly as I hoped. Im gonna call EVGA and see if they send me the right plug without the whole RMA process. If they do then I will give this a 5 star otherwise its gonna stay at 4.

Great product. Easy to install.

Installed this with an i9-10900k + MSI 3080 Gaming Trio. This PSU failed in less than one year of operation and the 850W is overkill for my system. Now dealing with EVGAs RMA process, which is a nightmare, to get a replacement since they wont offer a return. I would steer clear of this PSU.

Nice and quiet.

Works just as they said and looks good. Beware wives unplugging things on you. I almost thought it was bad.
