Setup and running for a few days so far. Everything is as expected except for the Failure Detection plug which allow the power supply to be used without a motherboard. Im using this as a external power supply and this plug is part of what sold me on this specific model. The Failure Detection plug shown on the third picture down on the bottom left is not what ships with the power supply. The included plug must connect to the MB cable not the actual power supply which I would have preferred. So now I have a bulky MB cable hanging off the power supply that I dont need. The plug does the job just not as cleanly as I hoped. Im gonna call EVGA and see if they send me the right plug without the whole RMA process. If they do then I will give this a 5 star otherwise its gonna stay at 4.

The fully modular design of this product works really well in cases where space may be an issue if you are trying to build. I used it because I wanted the ability to not have a disaster clump of wires at the bottom of my case. It handles everything I can throw at it and then some. My build runs around 335W to 545W depending on overclock, and what peripherals I am using. Having 80%+ efficiency on my system was a must, and this did the trick nicely.
