I planned on using this power supply for my gtx 1070 sli set up, upgrading from 1 gtx 1070 and a 460w power supply in a Alienware Aurora r5. It was actually very easy to test. the test said it was okay.... so I put everything in and it was not so hard to put the cables in my compact case but it was still a pain.

works good and easy to wire up

the power supply works well but when its under load it makes a squealing noise that lasts about 4 seconds and then stops. and will happen at least 3 times an hour when gaming

1st build ever ordered everything from amazon. Was sent defective case, bad memory and this psu was also a pain. For whatever reason it was not able to hold a charge or produce enough juice to run the machine had to replace with new one.

Excelente Producto

Bought this for a new build to power a Strix 1080Ti and an overclocked 8700k. Nice and quiet, eco mode is dodgy because it runs the fan at zero rpm until a certain temp - the fan then spins at a high rpm. Running it without eco mode is fairly quiet, be advised the fan curve gets more aggressive on models higher than 750... I had an 850 G3 prior and the noise difference is huge
