> 24 hourNot sure if its just a weird Hackintosh thing, but had TONS of coil whine noise in my Hackintosh build. Like I could hear the CPU doing its thing. Almost like an old hard drive head seeking. Swapped it out for a Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 11 and it went away. Never heard in BIOS or any other OS, so something about how MacOS does power management I guess.

> 24 hourDO NOT BUY THIS PSU! Spend the extra $50 and get a Seasonic! I purchased this PSU in November for a new build with a 3080 and a 5900x. One month later I went on vacation for two weeks and left the PSU unplugged just to be careful. I come back and everything is working for a day or so, and then all of a sudden my CPU started malfunctioning, I got repeated crashes (straight to black screen and reboot, not BSOD)while trying to run games and I replaced practically everything in the system, only to find out that it was this piece of junk power supply that for whatever reason couldn’t handle the 700ish watt load when it’s rated for 1000W. Thankfully I was able to RMA any CPU because it fried it. I now have a Seasonic 1000W in my system and all of my issues immediately disappeared. Never buying an EVGA product again, this $200 PSU almost cost be $1000+ in parts!

> 24 hourbought for new install with a 3080. coil whine is terrible compared to my evga 650 I have for my 3070 build. Under idle and low load its not bad but once you start doing something intensive the noise is unbrearable. Like I can hear it over my headset bad.

> 24 hourI dont have a GPU plugged up yet, and Im hearing constant coil whine that is louder than all of my fans and radiator. The cables that come with it for the GPU are also labeled VGA instead of PCi so be aware of that, confused me at first.

> 24 hourDoes what a power supply is suppose to do lol. pretty easy setup. Cables are nicely braided. Good to go with this one. Works with 3070 gpus.
