> 3 dayProduct does everything I would expect it to do. Unfortunately it has pretty loud coil whine. The fans and the whine are louder than all other fans in my system (I have 7). Im not gunna lie its pretty irritating when I dont have headphones on. It seems to only happen when I play games. e.g While I was playing Destiny 2. Strangely enough the game isnt even that demanding. I just hope it doesnt happen when I play League of Legends.

18-04-2025This is an excellent PSU. The cables all came neatly included, and they are very clean looking and feel quite sturdy. Would purchase again for sure.

> 3 day1000W G5 is unbearably loud. Even get a clicking sound when the fan speeds up and there is nothing touching the blades, so noise is from fan itself. Unnecessarily aggressive fan curve and after opening up the PSU found that the fan as well as other components are of lower quality since their switch to a new manufacturer. Get a SeaSonic or Corsair instead unless you get a G3 model or older.

> 3 dayNo sirve, necesitaba un power supply de 650 w y no funciono, estoy usando por ahora uno de 500w de mas de 10 anos de uso, aunque debo comprar uno de 650 o mas.

Ummm, what?
Greater than one weekBe aware the fan will make a little chirping noise upon start up which EVGA states is due to the fluid dynamic bearings and I even ordered a replacement to be sure and it sounded the same. Otherwise the unit is dead silent even when not in eco mode and the flat cabling is awesome and looks clean.

Greater than one weekThis power supply makes an annoying whistling sound during medium to high cpu loads. I’m keeping it for now as I have it installed and don’t want to redo my cable mgmt.
