> 3 dayOther reviews are likely more detailed. Just adding mine to mention that it is just the right size to fit in the HP Omen 30L case. However, the case has blocked airflow out the bottom, so you have to flip it fan side up, which means none of the 4 screws align. I was able to get 1 screw in, but its just pinching the case and power supply together, not going through a threaded hole of the case. Honestly holding just fine. 850W is overkill for my HP omen which draws 235W at the wall (measured via Kill-a-watt device), but the original supply had a clicky fan. The fan on this supply is much quieter (I cant hear it over any of the other system fans).

> 3 dayUsed a Thermaltake 750 in my last build was and am still pleased. However got a smoking deal on this EVGA 850. Pleased to report it is outstanding. You wont be disappointed, quality from box, to cables, to actual PSU. All of them are the best Ive owned.

> 3 daybought for new install with a 3080. coil whine is terrible compared to my evga 650 I have for my 3070 build. Under idle and low load its not bad but once you start doing something intensive the noise is unbrearable. Like I can hear it over my headset bad.

> 3 dayI hooked it up to the psu tester at work and everything checks out (at least for the one I ordered) so no complaints. Using it for my Ryzen 7 5800x and RTX 3070 with a slight OC on GPU and CPU with no stability issues (like my old m2 silent pro 850w). Well needed upgrade and will probably last me as long as I need it to.

> 3 dayNot sure if its just a weird Hackintosh thing, but had TONS of coil whine noise in my Hackintosh build. Like I could hear the CPU doing its thing. Almost like an old hard drive head seeking. Swapped it out for a Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 11 and it went away. Never heard in BIOS or any other OS, so something about how MacOS does power management I guess.

> 3 dayNeeded a new psu and got this one delivered today. Installed it and it was working fine for a few hours and then it just went out while I was using my computer. My previous PSU was also from EVGA and that one had no problems at all so maybe this one is just a bad one. will definitely exchange or ask for a refund
