Great enclosure for my tarantula. Nice room for him love the doors. This doesnt come with a light the picture is misleading. I enjoy this very much easy access to my critter. My brother has his scorpion in one and has plenty of room for him. I wouldnt recommend for anything bigger or amphibians or reptiles. But great for tarantulas.

This is a terrarium for my tarantula. The glass panes near the door side of the cage were loose at the edges with a gap. The sliding vent panel also presented an escape route for small feeder insects. Wound up taping a lot on this item-sort of ruins the look. Product is OK,quality is fair for my use-but needs better workmanship or a re-design.The official front opening touted in the product description is impractical for smallish spider-lings (<4 cm leg span) because the feeder insects suitable for a smallish tarantula (very small meal worms,tiny crickets,what have you) escape through the front door,due to its loose/ill-fitting design. If your tarantula is an escape artist this is a problematic cage. If you are forced to access the interior by the top screen,you run the risk of amputating a leg or two if they make a break for it,and you are forced to slap the lid on quickly. Id definitely not recommend this for small tarantulas. The CritterKeeper Cages are cheaper and better designed. Would not re-purchase,nor recommend.

The terrarium seems sturdy and accommodates by granddaughters gecko as a weekend habitat when they are staying with me. it wouldnt be large enough for full-time use but works just fine for a short stay.

I love it, it is perfect for my little froggie! I plan on buying a larger one and getting more frogs.

This cage is perfect for my juvenile Chaco Golden Knee tarantula. Good ventilation and easy front access for feeding and maintenance. I was looking for something while shes still growing thats not too big but bigger than her sling cage. This is ideal.

I bought one for my Indo-china mantis (Hierodula patellifera), and I must say I couldnt be more happy with it! It was the perfect size and shape. Neither my mantis, or its prey items have escaped, and having technically three different ares to open (if you include the double door as two separate places)has helped prevent escapes as well! Very easy to keep misted and humidified, but not stuffy at all. Very nice airflow. I also have larger versions of these cages for my two tarantulas and one of my snakes. I really recommend these to anyone!

Gorgeous little tank. I use it for my ghost mantis. I saw some comments that the metal screen is bad for mantis feet so I bought some terrarium netting meant for layering between substrate and hot glued that on top of the metal mesh. Fruit flies are able to fit through the small gap between the door and the side if they find it. The bottom of the tank is raised so you can fit a little heat pad underneath. Tank comes with the cool fake rock background. If you want to utilize the small sliding hatch meant for feeding wires through (I used a probe to measure temp/humidity) you will have to carve a small notch in the foam background. I would buy this tank again for another small critter. Very functional and compact!
