I live with a parent who smokes a few times a day. (I said a few not chainsmoking so keep that in mind) This HVAC filter helps out alot. It gets rid of most of it and definitely prevents dust and such from spreading around the house. I didnt have an issue with it causing reduced airflow.

Product met expectations and lasted longer than other furnace filters

Shredded and came apart in my furnace.. my have guy said it was a faulty filter as my system is operating fine.

I travel a lot, and was staying in a home that has a pet and the person smokes. I was literally dusting every day. With couture clothing, i can not have smoke damage. It would destroy all. This filter does pull up the smoke large with a magnetic system. I have noticed a difference in 3 days. No dust everywhere. I know that as a very health conscious person, myself, the air I am breathing is worth the price. Health is wealth, one learns when they get sick, trust me. I have been on both ends, and the price was the same as the filters at Lowes which did not have nearly the same filtration. If it was my home, I would keep amazon prime, and save gas, money, and have subscribed delivery every three months. Be very sure you click on the size. I did, and backed to read reviews, then ordered. I had to go through hassle of returning for proper size twice! But was picked up at door, and saved time, researching the best filter, at best price. Can amazon prime deliver gas for his car? Im used to my 77 mpg hybrid.

Filters seen too work pretty well, have 2 cats and things can get a little hairy but these filters have helped drastically cut down dust and hair buildup, and even though we all know the litterbox can stink these help keep the house smelling neutral also. I generally change the filter once every 2 months or so and it works out very well for the price. I kind of wanted the more expensive ones to try but you also have to remember that the more protection it offers, the less air will be flowing through usually, these offer good airflow though. Definitely worthwhile over the cheaper filters, after all since we are mid-covid and spending a lot of time at home it is good to breathe good quality air.

They work well. I have pets and really appreciate how the Filtrete Allergen Defense Odor Reduction filters catch the dander. It only gets a 4 out of 5 stars because the cardboard frame is not as sturdy as they were years ago. For me it is best to change them every 2 months. Only order them with lightweight small items; heavier companion products crushed the filters when I ordered them last year.

Easy to install feel high quality just a little pricey

The 20x20 in front of box fan are odor and dust eaters to the max. Crushed a combination of desert dust+pet+smoke etc. to clear air and soil filters w/in a month. Was impressed enough to write this very positive review. Making repeat of this purchase.

I buy this filter primarily to control the dirty socks order we sometimes get from our furnace & A/C. It does the best job of controlling that smell of anything weve tried.
