Good filters keep the air in my house clean

We are renting and they provide the 8$ ones which will block a leaf if it gets in there, but that would be it! So I but the best ones!!!!

not much to say except really keep the dust to a minimum

I really like this brand and the 1900 MERV rating, but they arent always easy to find and often over priced. I have tried other brands with equal or higher MERV, but have not found equivalent quality of the filter structure for a decent price. The Healthy living1500 MERV rating ones are almost as good, so I usually buy those. The 1 star deduction is for consistency of availability and lack of price stability.

Works as designed but very restrictive I’ve noticed less air coming out of the vents and It’s added 30 minutes to my cool downtime at night

When I bought my house I learned of the importance of changing your furnace filter (if you have a furnace). After trying some super-cheap filters, and suffering from indoor allergies (we have cats, a small suburban farm, kids, lots of dust-makers), I tried a lower-grade Filtrete filter. My results were so noticeable, I upgraded, and now, have upgraded again. While these filters can only do so much for your indoor air (the air that actually circulates through your furnace), it really does a great job. Im always simultaneously impressed and disgusted by how dirty they are after I pull them out. They do indicate that these filters are good for 3 months-- but I normally replace them every TWO months (finding them quite dirty) to enhance my air quality further and hopefully extend the life of my furnace.
