Easy to install.

I love these. They actually are made to stick out about 1.5 from your furnace (assuming you have the same size as me). There is actually a border that does not contain filter material which to me validates that they are supposed to stick out some, making it much easier to remove the product. Other filters often require that I use a pair of pliers to remove the filter. I much prefer these and the allergen ratings are very good.

Items as expected at a fair price

I have been using this filter ever sense the COVID pandemic and later California fires started. It has worked amazingly! I highly recommend this filter to anyone who needs a high quality and cost-effective air filter.

Okay I cant speak to how these will work in your air conditioner because I am using them to create pseudo virus masks out of them. This 1900 series supposedly has virus protection so with the current lack of access to masks I have created a cloth mask with a pouch and I took the filter apart and cut 2 pieces of filter (one on top of the other) that fit into the pouch. I realize its not ideal but desperate times call for desperate measures. Wire mesh was easier than most to get off because it sits on top of the pleats instead of some other filters where the wire mesh goes up and down in the pleats. Hopefully these are okay to have close to your face. There are no warnings on the package regarding handling so I guess they are okay.

These Filtrete filters are extremely well made and they work. We have two dogs and my wife has seasonal allergies. I went from a 1200 filtration level to a 1500 filtration. When I saw these, at the price and as 1900 filtration I could not pass then up. They work.

I adjusted the flame down quite a bit but the 1965 Heatwell (that worked wonderfully with ACE hardwares cheap prob merv 600 pleated filters) keeps shutting down now before the chosen temp is reached on the thermostat. I called 3Mtoday and they said this is the least restrictive of all we make reah right....
