When 3M states these filters last 6 months, they truly mean it! These filters fit snug which prevents whistling and slop in the register like Amazon Basic filters. The filtration rating is equivalent to a MERV 13 filter in a 1” depth. Tons of particulate is captured and come 6 months the filters are absolutely full and need to be changed.

These work great! Kind of gross to see how quickly they are able to capture all the particles in our house, but glad they do the job.

We have used these for years. And will put them on a reorder process

All Ive done is upgrade from the 3M filtrete 18x24x1 MPR 1500 to its MPR 1900.

This was supposed to filter away smoke, at MPR 1900. One of my neighbors is an old woman, and she burns her trash several times per week (!). I asked her to stop doing it, but with no effect. I live in Hong Kong, and some older people just burn everything, rather than recycling it or taking it to the trash. Her smoke goes into my HVAC system, and the whole house smells. I got these filters expecting to capture the smoke. It likely captures some of the smoke content, but not the smell. The whole house still smells like a campfire every time she burns her trash. Maybe I was just expecting too much. Maybe I need to add an active carbon filter?

The higher MPR the better

Seemed to be too big for the cradle. About 1/4” too big in each dimension.
