Clean breathing ! BUT Heavy filtration so just make sure you change on time and often or it can mess up your actual ac unit!

Every day I had to dry mop my floor because of the bits of dust all over the place. When I put this new filter in, I WAS AMAZED!!!!!!! NOW I CAN DRY MOP THE FLOOR ONCE A WEEK. WHEN I WET MOP THE FLOOR IT SHINES INSTEAD OF QUICKLY FILLING UP WITH DUST. This was a top rated filter on Consumers Report. They nailed it. I would never go back to the garbage filters I used before.

The previous filters I had, I replaced once a month. With FILTRETE I only have to replace every 3 months. I dust less by 67%, more time for ME. My home smells cleaner, I am not sick with allergies any more!!!

This makes the third time ordering this from Amazon and they have worked great by my experience having to use this type of filters for my Allergies since 2004.

My mother and I perpetual allergies, with mom being asthmatic and me being somewhat prone to dermatitis. Living next to an active road with a cat meant that searching for the highest MPR rated filter for my condo is an absolute must. I started using the 1900 MPR 12x24x1 filter when I moved to my condo almost two years ago (unfortunately there is no 2200 MPR rating for filters in that dimension). When my mom visited, she was both able to stay for an extended period of time without itching, sneezing, or hives. As for me, I find that it reduces my dermatitis significantly. Not too expensive, and well worth the higher standard of living especially when it comes to indoor air.

Made my AC run extra hard with a noticeably louder operation. Its too damn hot here to need to worry about blowing up a new AC unit.
